I went to donate here multiple times and let me tell you this the last time was the worst experience I’ve ever had! The people working were slow and seemed like they didn’t want to be there ! They were very disrespectful and turned away more than half of the items that I specifically called about before hand ! I will not be coming back here thats a fact! And for anyone looking to donate If you look up the savers in danvers it’s around the area too and is was better with alot more welcoming people!

And just to clarify I did check the website I did call the store and the employees that talked with me over the phone told me to come on down and that what I had was something that they would take no problem! All my stuff was almost brand new I just had a lot of it and the lazy employees you have didn’t wanna deal with it! But thanks for belittling me with that comment and making me seem like I was the problem when I’m reality it’s the workers you have and I was just trying to let you know! To anyone reading comments disregard the owner he clearly doesn’t even know what’s going on at this location gotta be working from home! Read the comments people are saying the store smells how are you going to try and get away with this ! I personally went down the other day and it’s true the smell is horrid ! We’re just trying to tell the truth and let people know what’s actually going on it’s not for the business to promote false cleanliness and good...

I'm sorry I know it's rude but I flipping hate the store not so much for the store itself for the people that work here who are pretentious stuck-up snobby rude arrogant pompous think they're better than treat you like dirt women who are supposedly volunteering. It was a period last winter when I had no food in my house and this is supposed to be non judgemental you know organization that can help people that are underprivileged I called up and asked for a food voucher they put me through to four different people before an answer was received....now this was like a couple of hours before they close and we were expected to get a lot of snow that weekend they told me to come down and they gave me a bag and I s* you not it had three apples in it powdered milk some potatoes canned veggies and a loaf of old bread...

It's fun to browse around in there. Some of the stuff is way overpriced however I understand the proceeds go to a good cause or good causes I should say. For instance I don't believe that I should pay $4 for a white T-shirt for my four year old when I could buy a brand new for the same price however it is what it is and like I already mentioned proceeds go to a good causes.

The downfall with bootstraps I believe is the staff they are rude cynical and flat out stuck up! If you're volunteering for a Cause perhaps you should try to take into consideration that the people shopping are smart, left without any other choices, or both. Trying to have a little compassion and patience...
