Mark at KM is exceptionally personable and skilled...and the rate for the work is very reasonable. I brought in 2 computers which needed to have their batteries replaced. He diagnosed one of them while we were talking right on the spot to make sure that it wasn't an unfixable problem.
When this was confirmed as a fixable repair he gave a very reasonable price for the battery repair/replacements (as in YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND BETTER PRICING) and that he wouldn't ask for the computer until he was committing to the work. This is completely unlike most other outfits you see, where they offered to fix it for much higher prices and keep the computer for 2 weeks (a completely unacceptable expectation).
When the computer was dropped off, he completed the work in a few hours and even made some modifications/improvements that he wasn't asked for and I didn't pay for. There is no question that he is a super capable computer/tablet/etc repairman and while you may find someone as good as him, you are NOT going to find someone BETTER.
KM is a good default repair shop. If you live within 20 miles of him, you're best off finding out what he will do for you first. I cannot imagine you're going to do better somewhere else.
If you are at all frustrated with the repairs that you've had people do in the past, TRY KM. A solid business which has earned my loyalty in...

Read moreI dropped my home PC off here for repairs a month ago. The guy I spoke to, Rick, said he would keep in touch with me over the next two weeks, and since then, has completely ghosted me. Will not answer texts, calls, voicemails, nothing. I said I needed to have it back in time to work from home and if he couldn’t fix the problem it was having, to just let me know. Nothing. And when I’ve shown up at the business multiple times, no one has been there, despite it being during their open hours on google and having an “open” sign on the door. His voicemail box is now full and I’m afraid this business has stolen my property. I don’t even care if it’s fixed, at this point I just want my PC back. Unfortunately, legal action feels like the only next step...
