Back East Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Beverly

Ok this is my second review, Ive been coming since it opened and now no more thanks to the owners co worker whom i believe may be his wife. I ordered what I order everytime. She was not pleased with my order and questioned me putting garlic sauce on lamb. That is my preferrence.I pay for my food the way I like it. So this vindictive woman decides to overdose my lamb with excessive sauce so that I can't taste the lamb and mix the lamb with beef.The wrap was so soggy it was dripping and falling apart. She was so miserable and in a bad mood, smirking about it. The atmosphere when shes there is very sullen and uncomfortable.she was rude when the boss was in the back. There is another mediteranean restaurant in Beverly, I will go there. I fear if she doesnt get what she wants her way who knows what she'll do to the food. No thank you. Most delicious, authentic, just unbelievably “umptious” Middle Eastern food in Mass! I am a Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern food junkie. I’ve had many ah hummus, falafel, shawarma, kebab, baba ganoush, tabouli, etc in my day. Here, is the one place that I have found where you literally cannot go wrong! No matter what you pick wether it be the juicy flavorful beef or chicken shawarma, or the creamy supple hummus, or the crispy airy falafel, it is just damn good. Literally, so good it feels wrong. But it’s so right! And to add the mother chucking cherry on top, the owner as well as the people who work there are so friendly, amenable, and all coincidentally have customer service as their middle name. Odd, but I love it!

In case you didn’t get the point that I was trying to convey...YOU NEED TO EAT HERE. Not just once, but...

The associate taking our order had her headphones in and had to ask us what we ordered 3 times. Then we failed to get the right food. It's not hard to fulfill someone's order correctly, maybe take the headphones out.

On to the food. The baba ganoush tastes like someone cooked it over a campfire and the hummus just doesn't taste right. The falafel are as dry as the middle east and the beef shawarma is LOADED with cinnamon, this is not your classic shawarma. The fries are cooked just enough to serve warm.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the people who work there actually want to be there and care. WASTE of my money, very...
