Super Sub Shop — Restaurant in Beverly

I love super sub always have and always will. But tonight as I’m sitting waiting for my subs to be made the two younger kids up front we’re bickering about Who is going to make my two simple subs that I ordered. I just thought it was very unprofessional, while the kid with the glasses who is doing nothing stood there and said no I don’t wanna make them and the other kid who has been there for a long time was sweating over the grill cooking. This young man with the glasses was just sitting there complaining on how bad he wanted to go home with the other younger kid upfront. I usually call my order in to be picked up but there will always be something wrong with it. I’m just very upset because now when I go home I feel like my subs are going to be as good because they were in such a rush to make them and careless because they wanted to go home even though it was an hour and a half before closing. Super sub is the only place I get my subs in Beverly, but that just schocked me that they are arguing on who is going to make my order. Like I said I use to call in my order to be picked up but there will always be something wrong with it. I’m just very upset because now when I go home I feel like my subs are going to be as good because they were in such a rush to make them and careless because they wanted to go home even though it was an hour and a half before closing. As I was leaving the gentleman with the glasses says he hopes no one else comes in and he can’t wait to go home. Like I said I would’ve ordered it over the telephone but they will always be a mistake and I’ve never complained. I feel like the boss should have a talk with these young gentleman for respect of the customers. That just rubbed me the wrong way. This is the best sub place/cheesesteak that I know about the beef is fresh not frozen. No matter what you get here, will taste good. Many different sub choices and ingredients. My go-to is a buffalo finger cheese steak and an order of wings. Very crispy flavorful crust fried perfectly juicy chicken they make you want to eat everything off the bone! Really good wings. The chicken tenders are also good the sauce that comes with either of the two is sweet and compliments the chicken well. Subs can be small or large. The small is still pretty big. It's fairly cheap and a great place to grab a bite for lunch or really any occasion. If you want a really good cheesesteak, this place is definitely not letting you down. Really good cheesesteak, but really not pleased with how deceptive their prices are. Online a price said $11.99, got there and menu said $12.99, rang up for $13 and change, that’s the price they said they would charge, and then I see the card reader says $14.45… I’m not too concerned over $2-3 but not cool to have 4 different prices for one transaction and also lie to me about what I’m paying. Also, it adds up across every transaction.

I’d be fine if it just said the price was $14.45, but don’t like the deception, seems sketchy. Not sure why there’s a 3.99% tender charge on everything either. Seems like very sketchy business practices especially for a long standing local establishment. Maybe time to rethink...
