Fuji Express — Restaurant in Beverly

Got their mailer and decided to give it a go. Wanted to try a bit of everything so I can get a good judgment for the place. I ordered the hibachi steak lunch, general tso's lunch, and a rainbow roll. Prices are extremely reasonable, they definitely have that going for them, but the quality is also what you should expect at the price point. That's not to say the food isn't pretty good, but it's just that, nothing sensational. All my food came piping hot, the general tsos had a good serving of broccoli, the rice was really fresh, the steak was a tad chewy (I imagine I could have probably asked for it to be cooked a bit less), and the rainbow roll was ok. Fiji has the best shrimp and vegtable tempura I have ever had. The breading wasn't greasy and the vegtables and shrimp still had their fresh flavor. Did you know you could heat up saki? They have it. Their rainbow rolls and philidelphia rolls were so amazing. Everything was just wonderfully fresh and could taste every element. There HUGE menu selection will tempt you to try everything. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. The service was wonderful. The sign on the bathroom door was even amusing. What's on there? I'm not telling. Where you choose to dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed. So stop in and check out them out. I can't wait...

Placed an online pick-up order at 5:40 on a Saturday evening. The online ordering system did not specify a time the order would be ready. Turns out they were completely slammed; my order was not ready until 7:05, so I spent about 45 minutes there waiting. While I waited I watched several other customers get frustrated with the wait and demand their money back. The place was simply not able to field the number of orders they accepted on this particular night.
