I want to start by saying that starbucks has never been a choice of mine however last week was my first time stepping foot in one due to my daughter requesting a cake pop. We walked into the 2450 E Main st Columbus Ohio location the sign on the cake pops read 1.25 when she rang them up they were all of 2.25. A manager came out and immediately took the sign down and stated that the price changed because of the holiday. I was under the impression that the customer pays the price of the signage. I was embarrassed and if it weren't for my baby girl I would have walked out. I called the customer care line today and was promised a refund then hung up on. I called back and the girl spoke so fast I wasn't sure what happened. I then called back and spoke to a supervisor Victoria and I felt like I was not important because they were going to have their jobs anyway. I then called to the store and was told by the "manager" Hannah that once the register rings up a price it can not be changed. That will be my last time ever visiting a starbucks and I will teach my daughter spend her money at places where they value you...
Read moreWe have never had an issue here until a male. I can never get his name because he’s always trying to hide but always goes to his manager about our family. We buy so much from here.. which, I don’t understand why it’s always a problem for him to service us. We recently got a puppy and was registered as a service dog. My mom told me if the guy is there he’s going to make it a big deal regardless of her service. Sure enough! We were in line and I held the puppy just so they wouldn’t say anything knowing the fact of the matter. Mom saw the guy and said look he’s gonna go say something, sure enough he went and told I’m assuming the manager and she did say if it’s not a service dog yall need to leave she was nice can’t lie- i told her it is a service dog but my mom said she had it because it’s not the first time the guy complains about us or her and my step dad going their. They go almost 2-3xs a week spending 30-50$. We are consumers and understand policies- but do not tolerate discrimination against us and yes we are Latin born and raised in the U.S we don’t understand why so much hate. We...
Read moreThe employee with an unexpected double consonant in his name always remembers that my name to has an unexpected double consonant. I order a stupidly complicated specific drink. They always get it right at this location and don't make me feel like a douchebag for ordering it. My stupid drink is a tall Americano with steamed soy milk and one pump of mocha. I would recommend that others try it, but the man with the unexpected double consonant oh, and his cohort of Baristas might condemn me the proliferation of this budget-friendly faux mocha. Also, because this place is essentially basic, it seems unnecessary to be concerned about my state of self-presentation. Many of times I have gone there with dirty hair and pajamas and felt completely unconcerned about who might see me in such disarray. Because this Starbucks location is in an old Bank it feels as impersonal, and on Cosi, just like a...
