MISLEADING ADVERTISING. I saw Tropical Smoothie Cafes sharing this ad and added it to my calendar to come back for the free smoothie. I was charged full price because I was not wearing flip flops. In hindsight, the ad is referring to National Flip Flop Day (so a tropical Sunrise Sunset smoothie makes sense) and says "grab your flip flops," which is an implication at best and a reference to the holiday, but not even in the fine print does it say wearing flip flops is a requirement for this offer. I contacted and gave TSC many chances to refund me for the misleading ad and they have failed to even reply. Edit: Look, the smoothies from here were fine. I appreciate that TSC has finally replied to me but here we are, 2.5 months later, and I am still not refunded to make good on the advertised offer. Your reply indicates you want to make this right, and I would love that as well. The link you sent me was for the contact form that I had already filled out multiple times, BEFORE you sent it to me. I have supplied ample information but would be happy to provide more if you wish, so we can finally move on. Thanks Edit2: 98 Days later and you still will not respond or refund me for your false advertising. Please refund me, I have already contacted you in several ways, including the way you requested Edit3: finally spoke with the manager and he deferred any and all responsibility onto corporate and did not help me. He said it was too late, as if I did not reach out WAY earlier, and it was a top-down corporate promotion, which is fair, ultimately the misleading advertising is on them, but he was steadfast that you needed to be wearing flip flops to earn the promo, even though I have shown this was not specified in the ad. Just make this...

Read moreEdited to ask what additional information you want? I when to your URL and it’s really only asking me to review again. I don’t think that is how I need to spend my time. I believe this review is pretty specific except that I didn’t mention that when I called all I got was a confused giggle from the employee who sounded completely unconcerned. It’s all good. I won’t order delivery again and I’ll head to New Albany. Thanks!
I ordered a Jetty Punch, sub mango due to strawberry allergy. I’m don’t believe my Jetty Punch had any banana and I’m sure there was no flavor. I only drank about 1/4 of the smoothie. Such a waste. They also substituted my chips for something else without calling to ask if this was acceptable - sent something I will never eat and had never ordered in the past. A call to clarify would have made a huge difference.
This was an Uber order and when they delivered we told them that we didn’t order everything they brought. He responded that Tropical Smoothie told him that the extra was part of my order. I’m sorry for the person who didn’t get their smoothies. But if it makes them feel better, 2 of the smoothies were labeled Surprise Sunset. The surprise must have been that they didn’t look or taste...
