Firehouse Subs Biddeford — Restaurant in Biddeford

Would like to give this zero stars if it was an option. This place has horrible horrible service. They have gotten my order wrong every single time. I have allergies and specifically tell them no cheese, yet they constantly have to remake the orders because they put cheese on the sandwiches.

The most recent time I was here, they had to remake the sandwich twice because they messed it up two times. I told them about my allergy when I ordered. They then make the sandwich with cheese. I ask them to remake the sandwich because of the allergy, they then proceed to remove the melted cheese from the existing sandwich and pass it off as a new one. This is a serious allergy, so this is absolutely unacceptable.

I used to come here often in years past. The sandwiches were great and the workers were very good. I recently returned to the area for my seasonal vacation again. These workers were yelling at each other and cursing in the restaurant, arguing in front of customers. Extremely unprofessional. They look like they would rather be anywhere in the world other than this restaurant. On top of all of this, they can’t even get an order right or accommodate a basic request to not put cheese...

First ever visit (and last!) to a firehouse, EPIC FAIL! Extremely disappointed. No more than 6 customers inside but at least 6-7 employees. I had placed a first time online order. Walked in and stood under the sign ONLINE ORDER PICKUP. And stood...and waited...and stood...and waited some more. NO acknowledgement from staff tho they all saw me standing there. Figured they were busy & gave them a few more minutes...nothing!!?? Five minutes passed and nothing. Finally I said hey! I'm here for my online order. Some kid pointed to a tiny cubby off to my left and there was a bag in there. It was my order, now growing cold. Customer service was the WORST! Got home and found a cup, not a bowl, of watery diarrhea-like chili. I ordered & paid for a bowl. Chili was for my g/f. I got a meatball sandwich. Chili was the WORST we've ever had...watery and lame with a bitter taste. We threw it out. Sandwich was meh...Market Basket or Subway's meatballl are FAR better with much better taste & texture!! I will NEVER EVER step foot in one of these joints again. It was a horrible...

Best sandwiches around but; Tried going there when their posted hours said they're open until 9p. Luckily we called first but he said they closed at 7p that night. Ok, then, but I guess you should update your web hours? Tried going on a Sunday night instead. Got there at 630p and the sign said they closed at 7p. Plenty of time to sit down and eat a sandwich. The girl who took our order said "we're only doing takeout orders because we close at 7." This meant we had to order them to go. Super lame and I've never heard of this before. I really don't want to eat my sandwich in the car, so I ended up eating a cold one instead at home. Yeah, I know, first world problems, right? But I also pay first world prices ($15 for a large) for the convenience of having a place to eat a hot sub with 20 minutes left until closing time. Sounds to me like staff intends to always lock up and have lights out at 7p on the dot. Again, super lame. Probably...
