I don't normally write bad reviews on any place because I understand that often corporate owners are not responsible for what lazy or rude employees do wrong when they're not present to oversee everything.
However, I sent my husband tonight to grab me a chicken avocado chipotle melt (with my card) It's a hot sandwich. They gave him a cold sandwich with a completely different flavor & ingredients that didn't match my order at all) On top of that the strawberry banana smoothie was extremely chunky. If I wanted to eat banana chunks.. I would've bought a banana for far less at Hannaford.. This is not the first time they've given the wrong sandwich to my husband and he doesn't find out until he's home and at that point.. this place is "conveniently closed". So nobody can call and ask them to fix the order or do anything to make it right. That being said. If you don't care about your job.. find another but enough with the laziness. I don't care how rushed you are to get home. If I order a chicken chipotle avocado melt.. that's what I'm getting. Period. After an extremely emotionally devastating day.. I needed my comfort food & It was that final push where I finally had a good cry... It may seem small to some people but it was no small thing to me to be able to have that. Restaurants need to understand that some of us don't order food just because we don't feel like cooking.. We fall in love with certain foods & sometimes they become a means to feel better during hard times... I can't afford this sandwich often..so it was an overdue treat.. a means to do something small for myself & because someone didn't care about their job.. I couldn't do that 1 thing. & I'm so sick of restaurants giving me the wrong orders or neglecting to give me something as simple as my dumpling sauce that's supposed to be included. Like this issue is so common now that's it's just sad.. I'm tired of feeling like a doormat about it. it's an extremely common issue that seems to have increased no matter where I order.. the fact that I have to ask my husband to check the meal before he leaves to make sure i don't get screwed...
Read moreI've never been to Panera but had always wanted to, so when my daughter asked me to go of course l said yes! I decided to get my favorite, tomato soup with a "grilled cheese" sandwich.
OMG it was absolutely DISGUSTING!! Tomato soup... COLD (and truthfully, Campbell's Tomato soup is much better amyway). I didn't think it was possible to screw up a grilled cheese, until NOW!! There was nothing "GRILLED" about it, plus it was cold... The "cheese" was a weird orange color, and not even melted... and after l nearly broke my teeth trying to take a damn bite... I even tried to PULL IT APART and couldnt!!
Ok so l admit l'm a GOOD cook... and l KNOW... this was just MICROWAVED!! Even my granddaughter could had made this better when she was eight!! So... feast your eyes and be glad YOU didn't THROW AWAY TEN BUCKS... because it went right in the trash.
Oh, in case you're wondering why l didn't complain to the staff of two people, it's because the line was out the door!! NEVER...
Read moreReturn visit - Third Review Apparently an eight dollar breakfast sandwich consists of half a piece of cheese, one egg, and one slice of bacon. This place is ridiculous.
Cashier who put in my order was not personable at all and did not put my order in correctly. It was her second day on the job, she was poorly trained as she had no idea what she was doing. Obviously I blame management for this not her, you are only as good as your training. Bacon, egg, cheese croissant was unremarkable and tasted of cleaning solution, almost as if they had cleaned their grill and not rinsed it properly. Not impressed at all. I used to frequent this place and never had any issues. Seems like it has gone downhill recently. Not sure if I will return.
Update: Returned and got a cinnamon crunch bagel, first three bites tasted of garlic. Word of advice, don't cook sweet and savory bagels on the same pan. Losing a...
