We go here quite often and have always been very satisfied. But this evening was horrible. The food was fine but the service was almost non existent. It was not very busy but rarely saw our waitress. We were a party of 10 (6 adults, 3 children 3 and under, and an infant). She took our drink order and we placed the kids food order. When the kids food came we place our food order. That came out in reasonable time, but then our waitress became scarce. We finished eating and waited quite some time for her to come back. My son and daughter in law wound up leaving with the infant as he was getting fussy. I waited approximately 20 minutes before I went up to the front to look for her to get take out containers, but couldn’t find her and got my own containers. I went back to the table and boxed our leftovers. She appeared and asked if everything was ok and if we needed dessert. I told her we just wanted the bill. Again I waited for her to appear. The little ones were getting restless and began to run around between the 2 tables that we had. My other son and his wife and their son gathered up their things to leave and I had my husband take the little ones out to the car while I waited alone for the bill to arrive at our table. I finally got the bill, paid it and left. I was going to complain about our service but again couldn’t find anyone to talk to. We go here frequently and are usually 6 to 10 people and spend $200 or more and I have never been so disappointed. I’m not sure if or when we will...

Just found this place on my way home from an event. What a great find! My burger was perfect. Best in a long time with its soft bun and flame broiled flavor I ordered a medium well and it was perfect! The bacon was crispy and full of flavor. The barbecue sauce was not too sweet and didn't overpower the burger's tast one bit. Best onion rings that tasted home made and long sweet potato fries that were crispy on the outside and beautifully soft and meaty on the inside. The portion was a good size! The waitress was adorable and sweet! My meal was delivered to my table that was in the bar area by a friendly man from the kitchen, possibly the chef himself! There was a large wrap around bar with surrounding tables. There was another large room that was quieter and had many tables amd I noticed, although it was raining tonight, there was a patio. The place, including the bathroom was very clean. The music in the bar area was Gen x music when I was there and was so fun. It switched to country for a bit and that was pretty nice too. It does appear to be a sports bar in the bar area, but I'm so glad they had women's sports on too! I loved that not all of the tvs had sports on since I was here alone and wanted more to look at while having dinner. I was wishing the taste were on captions. That helps too when you're here alone. We have been frequently going to this location as the choices in the area are not great. Their firecracker shrimp is out of this world. You would be hard-pressed to find a better appetizer anywhere.. their burgers are decent, fries are good. On our most recent visit I got the ribeye steak they charge 33 dollars for. The 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch thick piece of meat was terribly overcooked, and they try to hide the low quality cut of meat with some sort of sauce and steak fat/grease mixture. It was the absolute worst steak I've ever ordered from anywhere. Which was too bad, because a few years back they had a seasonal steak medallion meal, that was actually quite nice. But with such a low quality piece of meat it got me thinking that their scallops are most likely not scallops as there is never any sand in them and probably a fish alternative. I will bet that you could see a Sysco truck back to their door daily. For the price they charge, they should most DEFINITELY not be using such a poor quality source of food like Sysco ... We'll probably keep going there because the area has NO options and that's mostly because the people are really nice .. it's not the workers fault the decision makers decide to use such poor quality suppliers... It's a great location and the atmosphere is nice.. just wish they would source their food from local farms instead of terrible...
