Really disappointed with how expensive these guys have gotten lately for the quality. Prices have went up, but the quality has not improved. The order is almost always wrong or doesnât look like the menu picture. Itâs cheaper to go to Starbucks and get a Venti drink and a cake pop than it Is for most of their drinks in the smallest or medium size at Blacksmith. Very frequently wait times are long enough to make you worry about whether theyâve forgotten about you or not, and on a couple of occasions they have actually forgotten and Iâve had to remind them.
I have wanted to support Blacksmith being a smaller business and closer to my work, but I have had so many bad experiences now with drinks being made inconsistently and them not having things in stock often. In the last year Iâve ordered the same drink three times, the first time it was great, second time tasted horrible, and third time it tasted good but was only half full - looking nothing like either of the times Iâve ordered before. It seems like employees donât have any consistency in training or learning the menu.
I should probably stop trying at this point, but as a sleep deprived mom to a newborn and older kiddo desperately need the caffeine. If there was anywhere closer I would be going there instead, but had kept going to BS for the convenience.. now that prices have went up so much, it just doesnât...

They had a Halloween contest to get more likes and followers and recognition on Facebook but then didnât award the 3 prizes that they initially said they were giving away. A scam?? Perhaps. If they canât follow through with their advertising, how will they follow through with their product. I reached out 3 times about the contest and they didnât answer even one inquiry. They had a cookie giveaway posted on Facebook at a grand opening but then didnât follow through with that. Lots of lack of follow through. I was a regular customer for burgers and or drinks, but the lack of follow through was maddening. I will tell as many people that I told about the awesome burgers.
