What a bummer. CJs has gone downhill. Ordered the Montana Cut Prime Rib and got the smallest prime rib I’ve ever had. Server told us she was super busy but from my booth I could see all of the kitchen staff and servers high fiving and wasting so much time. The only time service was prompt is when they cleared the plates at the end. Honostly it wasn’t that busy, I’ve been in before when there was a wait for a table and service was far better. Took forever to even place an order. Out of Anchovies for the salads. At least the kids meals were okay. It seems like good service is becoming the exception, not the rule. Server gave us the wrong ticket at the end, and as we were leaving the server came running up and told us she gave us the wrong ticket and that we had to pay the correct ticket. There was a 2.00 dollar difference in tickets. Seriously? Own your mistake and let it go over 2 bucks. Strange feeling,...
Read moreI recently called to inquire if the restaurant could recreate their baked potato special from last week. A lady answered and informed me that it was a special and could not be repeated. I thanked her and hung up. Wanting a loaded baked potato with the same meat from the special, I placed an online order, selecting brisket as I couldn't recall the exact meat. I specified in the notes that I wanted the same dish as the previous special and was willing to pay any price. However, I received a plain baked potato with brisket on it. If I had wanted to prepare it myself, I would have done so at home. The gentleman in the casino area was very polite and suggested that the lady may have been unwilling to place the order. This lack of service was disappointing, especially since it might have been the same person who served my grandmother and me...
Read moreWent there about a month ago because I was waiting on appointments and was a convenient lunch spot. Tried the brisket sandwich and a side salad. Brisket was dry, had little flavor and was truly not exciting to eat. Even the house BBQ sauce didn’t really make up for it. Went today again for the same reasons, thought I’d give the place a second chance. Had the brisket nachos. Same exact thing with the meat. Just not good BBQ. To be honest. Arby’s has better brisket. Needless to say I ate probably a quarter of my meal and didn’t touch my drink after the second sip. I’m sorry. I really wanted to give this place a better review. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be back. Also worst lemondrop martini I’ve ever had. 2 stars because the atmosphere has a good vibe and the salad is pretty good. Just don’t recommend...
