Ruth was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding cake! She had photos and flavors for our tasting so that together we were able to come up with the perfect design. She made it so easy and enjoyable that even my groom got involved in the design process. The day before she made sure to let me know we were still a go, which was a nice touch for an out of town bride. The day of, she came in, set up the cake and was gone before I could even see her. When I got there, the cake was exactly as designed! STUNNING! As the bride, we hardly had a moment to get more than a quick bite, but it was delicious and all my guests raved about the taste. I would highly recommend Ruth and Dancing Oven for any wedding. Ruth did our wedding cake in August of 2019 and it was incredible! We received so many compliments on it. Ruth graciously worked with my request for a somewhat customized flavor ( a chocolate amaretto) and it turned out just like I was hoping for. Her prices are competitive and fair. I wanted fresh flowers to be used as decoration on our cake and all she needed from me was the name and phone number of the florist I was working with and she took care of the rest. She also did delivery for us and I was very impressed with how smoothly it went. I gave her full permission to call my cell phone the day of the wedding if she needed anything at all in regards to delivery, but I never heard a word. Just a beautifully done cake delivered on time! I read the reviews and it sounded like this bakery makes wonderful cakes. However, I’ll never know because I tried to order a simple birthday cake at about 10 am to be picked up the next day at about 11 am but was told immediately that the establishment was too busy to accommodate my order. A disappointment but it’s good to know that even in these unprecedented times this place is so busy it doesn’t need new customers. I decided to post this review to warn others to plan ahead better than me if you want to give this bakery...
