Play Inn — Restaurant in Billings

I've been a customer got 25 years. The food and portions are always great, prices are very fair. Wait staff has always been friendly and attentive. Until this morning. I was limited on time so I called to put my order in so it would be ready when I got there. Carrie answered the phone and sounded really put out to have to go through a phone in. She said," why don't you try ordering when you get here". Okay I said. I got here and sat for 5 minutes as she walked by me 3 times taking coffee to her regulars and never said good morning, be right with you, nothing. I was invisible I finally cleared my throat to get her attentiin, she said "just a minute". 5 more minutes, finally came by with the menu, I knew what I wanted, which seemed to put her out, didn't ask what I wanted to drink, so I told her I needed coffee. Another wait. She brought my coffee after she brought my food, which came real fast. I reminded her I wanted coffee. She then brought it after delivering food to 2 others. She came back when I was half way through eating, coffee now long empty, another wait for fresh. Finally came. Never checked to see if I needed anything until I played my card on the bill. Carrie is without doubt the unfriendliest and worst waitress I've ever had. If the owners would have seen her behavior I would hope they would take her aside and teach her customer service. I left no tip. I won't reward bad service or...

Have ate there many times for lunch and breakfast....my husband eats there alot...and we have referred many people to play inn. We Always have had great service and food until we went there last night!! Well last night my family decided to have it for dinner. We ordered 4 bacon cheeseburgers w/ fries and 2 side orders of onion rings! We got the food to go. I arrived to pick up my order and my food was sitting on the counter in a box....which i dont mind except that We do not live far from the playinn and our fries and onion rings were rather cold by the time we got home. That wasnt my problem though..as that could have been partially our fault. The burgers were excellent and cooked perfectly....but one of the burgers had some nasty slimed lettuce...none of the other had that lettuce and so i know it was just bad lettuce!! There also could have been more fries!!! I say there could have been more fries because my entire family ate everything and all were still hungry...which is not normal at all!! I had to still prepare them something else to eat. My main complaint was the onion rings!!!! There was only 7 onion rings in each order!!!!!!! And at $5.50. That is such a rip off!!!! Very disappointed and upset!!! We got 14 onion rings for $11!!!!!!!!!! My family will never come back for dinner....nor will we recommend anyone to eat there in...

You know I have been ordering here for years and the customer service has gone horribly down hill along with the food. The past few times I’ve ordered the salad the lettuce is old and brown and the lady that works there even said to someone else passing by to change out the salad AFTER she’s done with mine as she’s picking out the brown lettuce with her bare hands and smoothing it out in the container. Today I called to order chicken fried steak, which by the way IS THEIR SPECIAL and when she answered (same salad lady) she, as always, sounded so annoyed. I asked if I could not get the sides and get just joes and she said “well that’s gonna be way more money!” I said that’s fine so then she’s having issues on the computer and can’t find the chicken fried steak, gets frustrated and comes back and says that they don’t have any…how?! It’s your SPECIAL!! It was 11:15am so yeah. As she is hanging up ON ME I hear her say I just told her we don’t have any. I’m sorry it was inconvenience to try to resolve how to enter it into the computer. Unreal and unacceptable. Not that it will matter but I won’t...
