Mazevo Coffee — Restaurant in Billings

I absolutely love Mazevo, however, this location (38th St.) is terrible!

The first time I went into the store, mind you this is the newest location, my expectations were high as I enjoy the other locations immensely. When I walked in I was not greeted, and moreover the girls behind the counter were not very warm or friendly. The girls were also not wearing clothing that seemed tasteful for the job. I went into the conference room and as I looked around inside it wasn't too bad, but for it being such a new location, it should have been in better condition. For instance, the walls had marks all over them and the glass door was very obviously dirty while the girls were just sitting on their phones upfront.

When I went back out for my drink, I asked for the wifi password the girl told me they don't give that out. The other two locations had in the past, so this was surprising... I went there to do business and had my computer along, so I figured out to use my hotspot instead.....

I chose to go a second time, this was just in the past month, this time through the drive through and again very disappointed. I actually was in a pinch and wanted breakfast and a drink. I ordered a coffee, a smoothie, an english muffin sandwich and the Parmesan potatos (first time)... I spent $20 there.

My smoothie was fine, but didn't seem to be that cold, the coffee was close to luke-warm and the Parmesan potatos were still needing to be cooked through more, tasting raw in spots. The English muffin sandwich was not cut well, not that big of a deal, but it counted against the whole experience. All four items were not satisfactory. Again, the girl at the window seemed to not have the kind attitude I am used to recieving at Mazevo.

All in all, this new location seems very foreign compared to the others. I will not be coming back to 38th, that...

I've been going to my neighborhood Mazevo on Grand and 38th since it opened. I've enjoyed their coffee, the atmosphere and have had good experiences...until December 26th. The end of the story is that our sweet barista in the drive-thru did her very best to correct the errors with our drinks and to make us happy. Our toasted bagel with cream cheese was as expected. Well done! We ordered 1 iced drink with half sweetener and it came hot and fully sweetened. The 2nd drink was a chai with a shot (dirty chai) which we were told could be made with half the sweetener. This drink also came fully sweetened and did not have a shot. I choose to believe our drinks were made by a new barista and I will return to be, once again, a big...

I absolutely love going to Mazevo. It is such a relaxing, quiet, chill place. Billings is so lucky to have so many shops around town. Mazevo is very generous with all the events around town and appears always willing to donate and be apart of fundraisers. The only negative thing I have to say about this shop is their drinks are extremely way way way too sweet. I hate complaining about my order however there’s been a few times where it is extremely way too sweet and undrinkable. The barista is always extremely understanding and happy to remake it with half the sweetness. Even when I order 1/2 the sweetness, it’s still too sweet.
