Husband ordered 2 kids pizzas and one large supreme. Online menu says kids cheese pizzas come with a kid drink and cookie for $5.99. When the girl at the front hands him his order, he asks for the kids drinks. She tells him she doesn’t think the kids meal come with a drink and she’ll go ask the owner. She comes back and says that’s the old menu and the meals don’t come with a drink. Husband then looks at the receipt to see the kids meals are actually $7.99 not $5.99 as advertised on their website. He looks at the menu they have POSTED at the FRONT of the restaurant and it says kids meals are $7.99 and come with a KID DRINK and a COOKIE. My husband is non confrontational. He already paid for the pizza and was about to walk out with whatever they gave him but wanted to tell the employee, “Just so you know, your updated menu in the restaurant still says kids meal comes with a drink and cookie.” Before he could finish his sentence, SHE ANSWERS THE PHONE. Mid sentence. In his face. Just answers the phone and cuts him off. He just says thank you and she doesn’t acknowledge him at all so he walks out. I can understand menus get updated and prices increase but the way they handled the situation was just overall awful. No concern whatsoever for a person that just spent over $40 on pizza. They might be able to justify it and tell themselves they’re right but is that kid drink and cookie they saved worth the loss of future business. The pizza itself was pretty good but we won’t be back or recommend it to anyone. I don’t like spending my money and being treated like I don’t matter. By the way tonight was Kids Eat Free night for dine in. We paid $16 for 2...
Read moreWhen I first walked in, the blonde lady that was behind the bar, walked out from the of bar closer to the way I came as if I was going to steal something. I walked to the bar and quickly sat down so that she knew I wanted to eat/order food & not anything bad (close to them closing). Anyways, I didn’t want to eat too much & ordered the personal pepperoni pizza. About 5 minutes later, I get the pizza and I opened the box only to be disappointed! I told the lady that I paid for a pepperoni pizza and there were only about 5 total pepperoni and one slice, did NOT have a single pepperoni! She brushed it up and told me to look around so I put my index finger inside the slice w/o pepperoni (pictured w/highlight) and told her that there was not only single pepperoni in it and all she said is to look around that is somewhere?!
She was looking that I was starving because I would have asked for my money back!
I should have listened to the reviews!
Bad service, awful pizza and tasteless cheese! Just like the other comments.
I’m visiting and I have been three month without eating pizza and was so looking forward to this place!
Please READ reviews and don’t do what I did. I should have spend that money at a burger place since I knew what I...
Read moreThis place is a gem. I've had take out twice, I have not dined in. Both times I've walked in and placed an order. The place seems like a decent hang out spot, casual atmosphere, nice looking bar and plenty of TV's. The pizza here is amazing! You can tell the dough is made in house, and not old. My first was a medium pepperoni, basil, and parmesan cheese. Crust is medium, not thin, definitely not doughy. Has both a crunch and soft top, very pleasing. The cheese is the right proportion, and not too salty. The pepperoni was very good as well. What got me hooked, was the fresh basil!! If you haven't had this on a pizza, GET IT! Pop's is one of very few places to offer it. It adds a while new dimension to your pizza. The second time I ordered the same pizza plus an Italian sub. The sub was good, basic, with a lot of meat and not too much cheese. I ordered it to go, they placed the veggies on the side protected by foil. The dressing was on the side too, so no soggy mess when I got home. Overall this place is great. I haven't dined in, but the service I got while ordering and picking up was top. Thank you Pop's Pizza. This will be the only place I will miss when I leave...
