Burger King — Restaurant in Birmingham

Awful service and food. I had the veggie burger combo. They said the drink machine wasn't working, so I changed to the veggie burger and value fry. Then I realized the combo only cost 20c more and came with a small fry so I asked could i switch and the lady was like she didn't want to delete the order and I was like I can drive back around and she was like well it's really not that much of a difference and I explained to her that mathematically it was a better value even without the drink and she said no its not and I wasn't going to argue so I just told her I'd drive around then she had the manager come and change it then she told me I should have just said that from the beginning. She wasn't mean or anything just persistent and uninformed and not helpful. To top it all off the veggie burger was awful. The fries were cold and it appeared to be a value fry although I'm not sure because they weren't really edible. Also went inside to get a drink and surprisingly that machine WAS working. Waited for three minutes with no one in line to ask for barbecue sauce. The same lady from the window was walking back and forth behind the counter flirting with customers standing there eating out of their bags. She was eating grapes. I believe she purposely ignored me but I don't know for sure.. Again, not a helpful attitude. But I bet those grapes were a lot better than my meal. Finally the other lady asked to help me and told me they were out of bbq sauce. I hope they get better but that was enough to make me never ever want burger King again. If you can't do math , then at least be able to use the computer to be helpful. But don't argue with me because you're not good...

I went there Saturday night a little after 11pm. I ordered my food at the drive thru. During the ordering I could tell that the lady was annoyed. She was being rude and short and I could tell I was inconveniencing her. I pulled up to the window, paid for my food, and was then asked to pull around to the front of the store to wait for my order. There was no one in line behind me so I didn't understand why I was being asked to move. After a while of waiting I was starting to worry about my food being tampered with. I pulled back to the window, again there was no one waiting or in line. I got back to the window and ask to wait at the window, I could see the food line where my food was being cooked and packaged. I asked if I could stay there and she told me that I needed to go back to the front. She rolled her eyes and became confrontational so I just decided to leave. At that point I thought they would be tampering with my food. To ask me to leave the window when I had full sight of my food made me very uncomfortable. I've never had such a terrible experience. I've worked in the food service industry for 25 years and I understand difficult customers. That is not what I was being. You guys, if you read your reviews, need to find the girl who was working the window Saturday night, 6/22 around 11pm and get her into some service training classes. I was still charged for my food even though I never received it. She didn't do the right thing and reverse the transaction, leading me again to believe I was right about them spitting in or tampering with my food in some other way. Was in the area decided to stop because I haven’t been in a while because there isn’t a Burger King near me. Walked in very polite to everyone spoked offered compliments to the staff to set the tone. Order our food, a regular whopper combo and an impossible whopper. I’m still waiting on the impossible whopper as I type this review. It was 7 noticeable staff members present. They prepared the regular whopper along with the fries placed it on the counter for the million of flies to feast on while cooking the impossible whopper fresh. While I was waiting they prepared several orders ALL were brought back because something was wrong with the order. The funny part is no customer was rude or discourteous because their order was wrong. The staff seemed confused and disinterested about getting the orders incorrect. As I continued to wait all they could do was say it’s coming only to never be prepared. Once they decided to prepare my whopper they asked me what I wanted on it. I threw my hands in the air in disbelief my companion who’s normally the calmer of the two of us was so frustrated with the transaction finally said let’s go. He threw his food away which was cold when they prepared it. We left disgusted, perplexed and...
