If it was possible to leave less than one star, I would. This is the worst Burger King that I have ever had the displeasure of eating at. Nearly every time I’ve been to this location, I have a long wait and the workers there are always EXTREMELY rude, they take forever to get to the intercom and it’s like you’re inconveniencing them somehow whenever you order food. Like, y’all have one job. Even though I’ve found the service less than satisfactory before I have eaten here several times. Usually after I leave the bar or when I’m hungry and it’s late and there’s nothing else close enough that’s still open. But after tonight I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. My husband and I were returning home late from parents house (they live about 30 minutes away) and we were going to stop for a burger. On the ride home, I suddenly had to go to the restroom (I’ve had slight bladder problems since having our son back in January. TMI, I’m sure). I was in quite the pinch and it was causing me severe discomfort and pain. Since we were already going to eat there, I figured I would try and use the bathroom there, since I was barely holding it. I get out of the car and frantically knock on the door, only to have the two workers in there ignore me and pretend not to hear or see me (we made eye contact, so I’m pretty sure they realized I was there). I get back in the car and ask my husband to go through the drive thru and explain our situation. I only wanted to use the restroom and then I was going to PAY for something to eat. When we pulled up, we were rudely told that we couldn’t use the restroom even in an emergency and that if I was so inclined I could use the gas station up the street. We ended up pulling off and just coming home. Luckily, I made it home without peeing my pants, but the humiliation and discomfort was unnecessary and was definitely the last straw. I have half a mind to go and complain to the manager tomorrow. I will certainly not be eating here again and I encourage everyone else to...
Read moreI decided to stop here because I pass them every morning on the way to work, well now I see why I do. When I pulled up to the speaker and started was asked for my order the girl sounded very uninterested and rushed. I ask did they still offer French toast sticks and she rudely stated a price which sounded like $3.05. So I said, "I'm sorry?", then she said again as if I was agitating her, "For 3, $1.79", but she had already rang them up because I could see them on the screen. So I said Ok, that's fine. When I got to the window I had a digital gift card. The cashier attempted to key it in and then called the manager over, after she attempted she said it's declining (although I had just purchased it sitting in their drive thru), so I pulled out cash. My total was $14.06 and I gave $20.11. The cashier gave me back $6.00. I immediately told her she owed me another nickel(which I know is minor, but it is mine), I also asked for a receipt. They go to the back of the store to get a receipt and come back to say that the machine only had receipts from yesterday. Then they asked do I want a picture of it. So they took a picture with my phone. I also told the manager the cashier still owed me a nickel. She looked behind me at the line and then starts saying I'll give her $0.05, she holding my line up for 20 minutes for $0.05. Then I said and I am cause it's mine. Then when I got to work I had 2 and a possible French toast stick. THE SERVICE, RUDENESS, AND THEN THE FOOD...I'LL...
Read moreWhile normally there are smiling faces and friendly greetings in the majority of restaurants across this country. Birmingham, Alabama is the exception. I havefrequented this Burger King regularly since moving to the south side. Often times they are short staffed but the courtesy has always been there. However, on this particular morning the store was void of niceness. At the drive thru, the question was, “is that all?” With a rushed sense of aggression. At the window it was followed by,”our tap machine don’t work.” After I provided another form of payment, I was handed a drink with liquid on both sides of the cup. Gratefully I accepted. After the food was presented I reminded the tactless staff member to have a nice day and was swiftly rewarded by a pair of rolled eyes and scoff of my politeness. I realize everybody has their own stuff to deal with and we are all different even though we are all the same, but at what point does it become acceptable to work in a public service industry and allow the customer to endure such outright rudeness? I’m not saying it’s necessary to be overly kind or impossibly considerate, but a simply smile or polite comment can sometimes brighten the mood of all involved. Kindness ought to be met with kindness. Switch it up Burger King or I will. Stop The Rudeness!Bring back customer service! Make the customer feel welcome...
