I recently had the pleasure of dining at Captain D’s, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The highlight of my visit was the incredible lady behind the counter. She was so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. She patiently explained the menu, offered great recommendations, and even checked in to see if everything was to my liking. Her friendliness and genuine care made a huge impression on me—it’s rare to find customer service this good!
As for the food, it was absolutely fantastic, as always. The golden, crispy fish was cooked to perfection, the hush puppies were fluffy and flavorful, and the coleslaw was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Every bite was fresh, hot, and delicious. Captain D’s consistently delivers quality meals, and it’s clear they take pride in every dish.
I highly recommend Captain D’s to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet. Whether you’re a fan of seafood or just looking for a great meal served by wonderful people, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return for another great dining experience.

Read moreI ordered my food online. Got to the restaurant, waited 5 mins at the speaker to tell them I had a mobile order. Got to the window for them to tell me to pull down because they were waiting on my crab cakes. I waited in the parking lot 15-20 mins before someone brought out my food. I checked my food, I ordered a loaded baked potato but they gave me fries, went into the restaurant, explained to the manager I order a loaded potato and not fries, she proceeds to tell me, they don't have any potato and they didn't have anyway of telling me since I ordered through the app. So you're telling me that the 20 mins yall had me waiting in the parking lot l, Noone could come out and say, " I'm sorry we're out of potatoes, would you like to substitute for another side?!" My food was not fresh...I would think after waiting that long it would be! Never have to worry about me coming here again. They put all this emphasis on ordering through the app, but in reality it's better to just go to the restaurant and order, that way if something isn't to your liking you can just instantly get your money back and not have to email and wait forever for someone to contact you back. I'm soooo over these fast food places. Lesson learned: stop spending money on these bad service places and just cook...
Read moreCame in about 12:10 on Friday 12/22 looking for one of the lunch specials. Only saw 2 customers. A car parked at the drive thru and myself who walked into the lobby. I stayed for 25 minutes and although I was peeked at through the opening from the kitchen to the front several times my presence was never acknowledged and no one ever came to the front counter. Walked out slowly, no one seemed to care. Car was still at drive thru window. Counted about 6 people in kitchen area. No idea what was going on but waiting on customers and putting money in the till was not on the schedule that day. Needs better super supervision or destined to be the next chain to die. Not my first sub par reaction to service here and at other franchises. I think your food is good but I rarely eat it because it's always too tough to get through the actual order process with some of the worst employees in the business. Today was the breaking point. I'm only one person but you won't get any more of my money. I'm done! Just for the record I love the food which is why I've made multiple attempts at being a customer here but no matter.
