Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Birmingham

1 star only because day shift is usually efficient. However anytime after 7pm the service usually is unexplainably unacceptable. Not only is service unreasonably slow, your food is usually cold by the time it makes it to your door step. The delivery drivers are usually nice, but the individuals working inside of this location are rude, unprofessional, and careless. Today our food was ordered at 8:17. (Estimated delivery time 20-30 mins) We received notification from the app at 8:33pm that our order was going through quality check. At approximately 9:12 we called the store to make sure everything was ok and that we had not missed the delivery driver. While speaking to the rep he stated our order was complete and waiting to be delivered, but couldn’t give any other explanation on why it had no been sent out for delivery as of yet. I requested to speak to General manager, which he comes on line with a simple hello, not how can I help you or even a simple greeting of his name which I later identified as John O, or at least that’s what he told me. To be the GM running a whole location this rep should be completely knowledgeable of customer service and genuinely caring how his store location is perceived to the public. Instead John was extremely rude, nonchalant, and arrogant. Not one did he show an inch of empathy for this stores poor customer service. I also requested owners name and/or phone number which he stated he could not provide. As an owner of a restaurant (popular restaurant) you should always leave options for your customers who spend great money at your location to at least be able to contact you even if it’s via email! How my frustration is not with the owner since I am more than positive he is unaware how these individuals run his location. To wrap up this review I would just like to kindly state for loyal customers who spend at least 250-300 monthly at your location we should at least be able to be served my individuals who actually care when it comes to customer service. It is now 9:44 and our order is yet to be delivered!!!

3/19/21 7:21pm Order# 1901 ordered a medium pizza and a philly. Watched the tracker every step. Tracked the driver every few mins. Requested a 2min arrival notice. Tracker kept pushing the delivery time back by 30min increments. The tracker continued to say the driver was on their way and delivery would be made at 9:38pm. And I never received 2min arrival time. I called at 9:00pm and was told the food was delivered. I asked if they could contact the delivery driver and was told by Angela that it was their policy not to contact the delivery drivers because it’s dangerous. (Huh?) They would have to ask the driver when they came back. All I wanted to know was where they delivered the food. I was on hold for 45 mins while they waited on the driver. Called back and spoke to James. He put me on hold to talk to his boss, Angela. He then told me that Angela texted the driver and they said they delivered the food to my address. They knocked on the door and spoke to someone. It’s wasn’t my home and it wasn’t me. James who called himself “one of the managers”, said that it he wasn’t aware of any such policy about not contacting the drivers. (I have a friend that works at another location. They confirmed the store called the delivery drivers on the regular.) Unfortunately, seems like the driver lied, this Angela person lied and I never received...

I go and pick up pizza here 2-3 times a week and usually service is good but not tonight. I ordered my pizza at 4:54 pm and arrived at the store at 5:05pm. I got in line for the pick up window, there were 2 other cars in the line. As I sat there I watched 2 employees come out with orders for delivery on had a red renegade keep did not see the other’s car. I also observed an employee wearing shorts go into the store. The person in first car pulled off next car in line pulled up and sat waiting for someone to come to window. I noticed 2 employee walk out go to red Toyota, one rummaged in the trunk. 2 more employees come out while 2 cars sit in pick up window line. I sat in this line for 10 minutes never made to pick up window. I backed up parked in front of the door and called to have someone bring me my pizza which was cold. I ordered at 4:54 pm I got My cold pizza at 5:15 pm. Everyone took a break at the same time left customers waiting in line. That is the worst customer...
