I remember getting milos sweet tea when i was in high school. Good stuff then and good stuff now. Little did i know or remember that they had a successful restaurant chain around Birmingham, Alabama and fortunately i got the chance to try it. The restaurant upon first appearance is unassuming of being open or operational due to a lack of stickers, advertisment of any deals or even an open sign with hours of operation. We decided to go in and sit down for this visit. The inside is clean and semi- organized. The reason i say semi organized is because they give you a drink cup with ice at the counter, there was a table with sweet tea behind you from the counter, the lids are back on the counter and then the straws are on the table with sauces to your left of the counter. Now i will say this, i absolutely love how they have their sauce line ups available to get what and when you want, so i applaud them for that. Ive only seen that a couple times and it definitely beats going to the counter to ask for different sauces of which you might be unsure of how many there are and possibly have to pay for( cough cough zaxbys). I got the spicy grilled chicken sandwich and my wife got the crispy chicken sandwich both with fries and drink. Now the total for both of these came to $17 and change so not really a low on cash at the moment kinda spot. Its more of a " i got $20 to burn" place. Now both of our sandwiches were good but my definition of spicy and theirs are two completely different things. Its way, way to mild almost to the point of checking my receipt to make sure i ordered the right thing. The chicken was very juicy given the thickness of the cut. It really was a good sandwich i would gladly get again. We both LOVED the fries and i love the boom boom sauce and the double 00 sauce. Overall i will definitely be visiting again when i come...
Read moreManager is horrible! After I paid for 3- piece Chicken Tender Combo & a #5 Mega Meal Double Cheese Burger with no onions & no mega fry. I made sure I repeated my order again because I wanted to make sure it was correct and the order was still wrong.
When I called to complain about driving home and opening up my food and it was wrong. After I gave her my order and stated that they gave me a regular fry but I ordered a Mega Meal. She goes on to say we don’t even sell regular fries.
What type of manager don’t apologize right away for their mistake. Let me tell you what should have been said but wasn’t.
“Ma’am I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. When you return I will make sure your order is correct. This was a mistake on our end and we want to fix it.”
But No! Companies are hiring anyone that will clock in bad customer service and all. The US companies lose 1.9 Billion a year because of bad customer service. This has to be fixed immediately because it’s a real problem.
I posted pictures and my receipt so I can make sure they see I was here and I have...
Read moreWhen I get my kids pizza I usually get myself something else. Arby's is the easiest but I impulsively decided on Milo's today. I haven't been to Milo's in over a yr. Probably longer. I had consistently gotten poor service at the location in Trussville and food had gotten to be too much. I ordered my kids 2 pizzas for 15 dollars and 1 combo here was nearly 14. One combo! I accepted paying the cost today and placed my ordered. Got home and the fries were not all the way cooked. The fries have always been about 99% of why I went. The fries yesterday were not cooked all the way and they were not seasoned. Was an absolute disappointment and it won't happen again. Or at least for another very long time. AGAIN! I've never worked fast food. I did retail when I was younger. I imagine fries are on a timer so how is a batch this uncooked. I'll wait an extra minute for cooked food. Well I made pizza in high school. No deep fryer though. Anyway, the food was a massive disappointment. The hamburger was good but bad fries is...
