Pablo's Restaurante & Cantina — Restaurant in Birmingham

Well this was a one to put on the memory book we came from out of town to enjoy the city we ate yesterday here and the waitress wich was the best serve us 💯 we decide to go back today early for lunch and shes not there so an older man served us no problem i ask for the same thing i ask the day before and the guy brings me something totally different i told him thats not what i got yesterday and in a second he responded with a attitude thats what you getting i told him i dont want that i had the same thing day before and this is not it well things got heat up and he started using profanity so i decide we just going to leave and come later may be hes shif is over well we came back tonight and same lady that serve us and i ask her for the same drink she was like of course like yesturday i said yes well she came back and said well the big glass is hone the owner took them off from shelf i said that guy serve us earlier and we had a little misunderstanding she said THAT IS THE OWNER !!! Well just got interested she call the wife wich is one of the owners too and she came we had a conversation she agreed thats was wrong what he did i said is ok we just want to have a good diner and enjoy the night she said you will get the same size of glass from the first time and that was the end everything was wonderfull BUT THE BIG BAD GUY THE OWNER !! and disrespect us i told him to chill and go away HE WALK FASTER TOWARDS ME AND AND LOOK HE WAS TRYING TO GET PHISICAL WHICH I HAD NO PROBLEM!! THE WIFE CAME AND TOLD HIM TO STOP AND ACT LIKE THE OWNER AND THAT HE WAS AT THE WRONG WELL BIG BAD GUY ONES I GOT UP AND GOT LIL HEAT UP HE DECIDE TO WALK AWAY AND GO BEHIND THE BAR wich i believe that was hes best decision ever well this SO CALL OWNER HAS NO RESPECT FOR COUSTMERS WICH IS WHAT KEEPS HES RESTAURANT GOING BUT WHAT HURTS THE MOST MEDE ME FELL BIG TIME DISRESPECT IT IS THA * HE IS HISPANIC JUST LIKE US AND ACTES LIKE HE WAS DIFFERENT FROM US BUT O WELL JUST WANTWD TO SHARE THIS EPISODE THIS IGNORANT OWNER MADE US GO TROUGH .... THERE ARE PLENTY OF RESPECFULL MEXICAN RESTAURANTS NEAR BY AND OF COUURSE THEY SHOW RESPECT TO THEIR COUSTMERS WICH THATS REAL IMPORTANT TO ME AS A...

This past weekend we ordered items from the restaurant for delivery (via thetakeoutbham) and this was our second time ever placing an order for this restaurant. So far now we are 0 for 2 getting exactly what we ordered. The first time we ordered two entrees, chips, queso, salsa. My entree was completely wrong. I ordered one of the burritos and instead a salad was delivered; not just a different type of burrito but a completely different menu item. Then this past weekend we had friends in town so we decided to give the restaurant another try since our friend was craving Mexican food and while our order the first time wasn't right, the food was still really good. Again we received a messed up order. Our friend ordered fajitas for which he received no tortillas. And we also ordered 4 soft chicken tacos but only received one of the 4. I ended up calling the restaurant and picking up what was not included but it kind of defeats the purpose of using the delivery service if I have to go get the corrected order anyway. It's very frustrating to have given this location 2 chances and for both orders to be messed up, not just because it's a headache to not receive what was ordered 2 out of 2 times, but like I said, the food is VERY good but the messed up orders make us hesitant to ever...

I really didn't want to post but I think other people should be aware at this point. I've had raw chicken here, that was served to my child, I posted it on my fb but didn't tag the restaurant because I have a friend that works there. This past time, I guess they changed their cheese dip, the enchiladas were cold and just not good. I took two bites of my food and when the waiter asked if everything was good, I said no and explained the cheese dip situation and my meal. My husband didn't like his either but he doesn't complain. Lol. Long story short, the manager or owner (female) tried to change my mind to order something else but my appetite was ruined so I declined. She took the cheese dip off but left my food on the ticket! I told the waiter that I was not happy and shouldn't be charged. Finally, my friend came over and made things as right as could be. We still paid over $35 for a kids meal and whatever my husband ate with a kids soda and his soda. Sadly, I think we're done with Pablo's.
