I've got an interesting story for this Subway.
I had never been to this subway before, but my friend has been a couple of times since she lives nearby. Her and some of her friends have had problems with this subway, something always happens at this subway. They tried to warn me about this subway but I really wanted a sandwich so I ignored their claims of the subway lore.
My friend ordered one foot long meatball sub to share, Online, at around 7:15 (they close at 8), the pickup time was 7:35. We get there, the two women working there are glaring daggers at us, as if it were a crime to come in and order a sandwich at subway. Apparently they didn't have the sandwich. They were out of meatballs, and had tried to call us but we didn't answer (my friend got the call but didn't think much of it). They offered to refund the sandwich, we still wanted a sandwich so we asked for the bacon chicken and ranch sandwich. The older worker said we couldn't do that because it was a different price, so we had them refund the last sub and then paid for the new price.
The other worker started making our sandwich and she goes "do you want everything thats on the chicken bacon and ranch?" we said yeah cuz that's what we ordered and she starts listing off the ingredients. They do not say ranch, they say baja sauce, we didn't think much of it. The worker asks "what kind of bread do you want, we only have white" (😐😑🤨) my friend goes "well, I guess white?" And at this point we're both trying so hard not to laugh. The worker asks what cheese, my friend says provolone. The worker says "OK", looks down, "we don't have provolone." So we get pepper jack cuz why not.
We have it toasted, while that's happening some poor kid walks in with his headphones in and starts walking around to the end. The works start asking him to "come this way" no other direction, and starts yelling at him when he doesn't understand what they meant "THE FLOOR IS WET" the older worker yelled at him eventually. I felt bad for him cuz he ended up just ordering an Italian, hope he didn't have any troubles.
The worker pulled our sandwich out of the toaster and starts putting all the stuff on it and that's pretty normal until she reaches for the baja sauce. My friend says "Hey, I ordered a Bacon chicken ranch sandwich" the worker said "we don't serve that anymore, it's not on the menu." We look up, it's still on the menu. "We wouldn't have used rotisserie chicken if it was the bacon chicken ranch" HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT WASN'T THE CHICKEN FOR THE BACON CHICKEN RANCH 😭😭😭😭
She goes "we can put ranch on it and give it to you but we no longer have the bacon chicken ranch sandwich, it's the baja chicken and bacon." We say "OK then, just put ranch on it, it's fine" my friend buys the sandwich, she always tips EVERY TIME, she did not tip this time.
We left the restaurant laughing because, she knew the subway was bad when it comes to the service, but she didn't think it could get that bad. And I was laughing because I genuinely haven't experienced that level of attitude from a fast food worker before. I used to work at a dairy queen, I understand not liking to work in fast food, I never treated customers like that and neither did my coworkers 😅
I left out alot of the attitude but there was a lot of comments made under their breath when they were making our food. The restaurant...
Read moreI ordered a steak and cheese with guacamole. The sandwich maker tells the cashier I had a steak and cheese but forgot to tell her I had guacamole on it. After she rings me up and I pay she comes back and mentions I had guacamole on it. She ignores it because I already paid. Im trying to offer to pay for the guacamole but she walks off before I can say a word. Then the woman who made the sandwich comes over sees the mistake, im still ready and willing to pay the 1.65 extra, but instead she starts blaming me for the mistake and they both start getting an attitude with me and walk away. A third woman who I think was the manager comes over apologizes for them and I happily pay for the guacamole. There was no reason to be rude or get an attitude. Instead of trying to correct the mistake which had a simple solution you waste time placing blame on a paying customer and being rude to him. I can understand if I was just refusing to pay but that didn't happen. Im thankful to the manager who resolved the issue, but to the other two workers it shows a complete lack of maturity and intelligence when your first instinct when a problem comes up is to place blame on others and act rude and...
Read moreMy experience here was disheartening. I went in and was stared at by the woman working here and wasn't greeted, so I greeted her myself. She waited until I got all the way up to the counter to tell me that she hadn't eaten all day and that the store was closed (it wasn't) and that she was taking a break. I didn't know how to respond, but she proceeded to tell me that she was going to make my sandwich and be done because she couldn't care less about making it. I told her not to worry about the sandwich and I simply left with nothing.
Look, I understand that workers get tired especially when working by themselves having been working in customer service for years myself, but that's no reason to take your frustrations out on the customer when they aren't at fault. If she'd talked to me better without the rudeness and just told me that she was in need of a break, I would've taken it better and happily left. Proceed with caution when coming here because apparently the employees have a track record of...
