The Crab Barrack — Restaurant in Birmingham

I have eaten here several times and usually the service and food are good. However recently when I went to pick up my order, I noticed it was sitting on the counter, and not behind the counter. That was because, the cashier, who was taking a personal call, had given the order to the wrong customer, who had left the restaurant with the food and later brought it back. The restaurant then proceeded to give me the food that had been out of their presence. Luckily another customer told me what had occurred so I requested that my order be prepared again or refunded. The cashier tried to insinuate that this was not a serious matter, and I should speak with the manager if I wanted a refund or a new order. The manager did state he would have a new order prepared, and I would like to hope that that is exactly what he did. But who knows for certain. I am not likely to order from there again for some time. Such unsafe practices are untrustworthy! Thanks again to the customer...

Was in town visiting family. Decided to check out this spot. Ordered the Managers Special #1 and Fried Shrimp and catfish. The Managers Special was seasoned really well, I had the House special seasons. The MS list what you get:12 shrimp, 3 boiled eggs, corn, and 2 sausages. When I read 2 sausages I was thinking 2 pieces of sausages that would be at the minimum 1 inch in length. The 2 sausages were 2 slices of sausages. And that’s how the description should read “2 slices of sausage”The were cut small enough to be eaten in one bite. That would be my only complaint about the Mangers Special. The catfish and shrimp: the catfish could have use a little more seasoning. I would recommend this spot to someone looking for some seafood. But beware of the little amount of sausages you...

I didnt like the shrimp boil that I ordered for 12 dollars. If you are wondering why it was 12 dollars they had a sale or something i cant remember.....anyways this was 3 weeks ago and they only gave me 2 thin AND LITTLE peices of sausage.... And the food tasted weird not trying to be rude or nothing... The summary is, i wasnt satisfied. I might try agajn with them in the future. Im not trying to put the business down, tell you not to come here or anything of that nature... Just do better next time.
