We never got the chance to try anything here. We walked in the morning of September 16th, the girl working there looked at us like we had done something wrong against her. She did not say a word, just an eye roll and a scowling face. I immediately felt extremely uncomfortable and told my boyfriend that I didn’t want to order anything, so we left. I also work in customer service in a tourism driven town, I get it. Outsiders come in, you can tell they aren’t from there, but you still treat them with respect and kindness because that is your job. It is your job to greet people as they walk in, or at least smile at them, at THE VERY LEAST not make them feel like they’re in the wrong place by being there. I’d like to think we just caught her on the wrong day, it reading other reviews this seems like a regular occurrence. I hate to leave such a bad review, but the interaction really stuck with me, and I hope that maybe she sees this and understands how she’s making...

When in Lone Pine I try to stop in here a couple times for a latte and always stop in on my way out of town for a caffeine fix for my long drive. I always pre-order and pick up. They usually have my order ready before the 15-20 minutes the site gives me for pick up. I highly recommend pre-ordering. Ordering in store takes some time depending on how busy they are. It’s just easier and more convenient to pre-order. Today I got a 12 Oz latte and the avocado toast on sourdough with salmon, pickled red onions, egg, balsamic and everything bagel seasoning. It is probably one of the best I have ever had. They don’t skimp on the ingredients. The toast was loaded to the max and definitely worth the price. It is now my new favorite thing here in Lone Pine, and I will be looking forward to it when I make the trip to visit. They do have other options besides salmon. There is also pesto and turkey. We walked in early in the morning, excited to get our morning coffees and some breakfast. The young lady that works in there is not welcoming and plain rude. We have ordered Pesto Sandwich which is different from Avocado Toast on the menu. Similar, but different ingredients. Also, cheaper, but we will not even go in there. We were given attitude when I said that I want the one from the menu. Then she asked if we would like sourdough bread or wheat ( Pesto sandwich on the menu was already on sourdough but whatever), we said sourdough and to add salmon (additional charge). I am posting a photo of this “add salmon” and wheat sandwich that was missing 3 ingredients - radishes for instance, and a tiny tiny salmon piece with sad looking avocado.
