City Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Bismarck

Good but some issues. I really like the atmosphere here. The coffee is good and they also have some good pastries as well as a few breakfast sandwich options all at quite the reasonable price. The staff has always addressed me promptly and with kindness. The problem is that half the time I stop by there they are out of this and out that. I understand there are variables in life that nobody can control so sh*t will happen but at some point it is happening way to often and that isn't correct. Infact the time at which they seem to "run out for the day" of items I want to try or purchase just happens to be 10 min after open. Really you can't stay stocked for more than 10 min? The big problem I have with this place is when I get coffee through drive thru I always ask for room at the top to reduce the risk of spill while I travel but instead they always fill it right to the brim and don't use those stoppers at the mouth opening. I used to love coming here but recently their quality control has gone down the toilet… I ordered the campfire mocha and even asked the employee if it had marshmallow and she said yes. Got one, couldn’t taste any marshmallow and barely a hint of coco. Called back and said I think you forgot the flavor? And the lady, while polite, said “I think I made that, there was flavor.” I said I just wasn’t comfortable paying $7 for that drink and she said that “maybe next time I should order double flavor for that drink.” Ok fine whatever. But today I got a different drink that I get regularly and usually tastes great (no double flavor) and it barely tasted as if it had any flavor at all. Yall need to do better. I placed a Togo order on the mobile app for pick up at 3:20, mobile pickup said it was available. When I went to retrieve my order on my lunch break there was a note on the door that said closed, however the door was unlocked so I went in. Nobody was there. The alarms went off and my card was charged over 30 bucks.

The food here is great, but your service is terrible. There is no where to get a hold of anyone, phone doesn’t have voicemail and emails haven’t been opened. You can’t charge people for goods and services they haven’t received. Whoever is running this place needs to get it together.
