JOMO HOUSE — Restaurant in Bismarck

My first time at JOMO HOUSE, and went with my boyfriend and family. We decided to stop by because of the amazing reviews. For sure, the atmosphere was amazing! I loved the decor, it was very cute. Their drinks were somewhat okay, didn’t mind them. The mochi was pretty good, nothing to complain about.

HOWEVER— I ordered a corndog with half-cheese and half-hotdog and I received one with full cheese (I should’ve read reviews before because I see that other customers also had the same issue). My family and I were also surprised that there was sugar on all of the corn dogs? I felt like they should’ve specified that it’s a sweet and savory item. I also tried the hot Cheeto corn dog…THIS WAS THE WORST. DO NOT ORDER. Something was definitely off about it, I couldn’t put my finger on it. Hours after I had an upset stomach, and my boyfriend ended up throwing up in the bathroom. He suspected it was fried in old oil (which is why I had an off feeling about it)…

Korean Corndog was great! Drink and mochinut was meh to me. I got a nacho half and half Korean corndog and flavors were delicious. It came with 2 packets of ketchup as well. For my drink it was a banana coffee, very misleading because picture shows a banana milk like layer but I was given coffee with a mashed banana in it…maybe banana coffee just wasn’t my liking. I do have to add I love banana milk the Korean brand but this was not the flavor they had. The mashed banana also added a strange texture. Mochinut was soggy, no crisp at all and I’ve had mochinuts before so that was disappointing. Atmosphere was beautiful and clean, service was good and very fast. Parking was hard to find, has to illegally park at McDonald’s since there wasn’t any street parking. From Fargo many Boba places there. Jomo House is the best relaxing clean atmosphere with such a huge assortment of many drinks, food, and treats. My teens love going there for thier up to date "Trending on tik tok food items " The corn dogs are unbelievable. I personally enjoy the boba tea drinks made fresh to order. The staff is so friendly and kind, they remember your name and favorite beverage, and how you want it as far as ingredients. That to me is very professional and showing of kindness which is hard to get these days ar many places.
