Well, after we drove 45 minutes to our home, 'then' I discovered that my bag did NOT have what I ordered AND paid for. Not surprised - I was waited on by such a newbie untrained guy who was being trained by someone who didn't know what a scone was... i heard the trainer ask the trainee... What a disappointment when we got home. It makes me have to be a jerk in the line to 'double check' my bag before I leave the line - thus making people wait even longer and takes away the trust factor I would like to have with our local businesses. Besides that, it is irritating. I wanted a scone for a reason... I can live with out it, for sure, but will this Panera continue if it puts out this kind of bad service? Maybe the two 'kids' behind the counter knew I was one of the deplorables in America!
Part II - April 25 - a week or so later. Went to try the Bismarck Panera one more time. Talk about a different experience! A 'new' girl waited on us - a 'newbie' from Macedonia - the was greatly apologetic - with a beautiful smile - gave me an extra scone to make up for the earlier confusion - For the record, I was nice to her - I am not one of those grumpy customers the 'next' time - I was ready to be, but she defused me in one second with that smile and apology. Why do we have to bring in good people from outside out country - why can't our own American teenagers / young people be like our Macedonian! Read moreIf i could give this specific restaurant zero stars i would! I’ve been a Panera loyal customer since 2010! When i order I’m spending at least $15.00 A DAY! That’s how much i love the company! But since I’ve moved to bismarck they have tarnished the name. Someone is always forgetting my food out my bag. I normally check it to make sure. But my husband went on 2/21/2018 at 8:29 and did two orders. Well we didn’t get our MEAL! So when i called at 9:12pm i spoke to Brooke and she told me that i can’t get my sandwich that i paid for because they’re closed. (That’s not my fault) She asked for my address and said she would send out a coupon for a free meal. And if we come through the drive thru again to let them know what happen and we will get free pastries. That didn’t help me because i had a long day and was very hungry. We waited and waited for the coupon which i wished she would’ve just taken our name so we could come up there and order instead. We’ve been calling the restaurant since 3/1/2018 no one ever answers the phone. There’s no way to leave a voice message. And i don’t have time go up there and resolve an this issue. Read moreI've been telling my friends about the poor performance the Bismarck, ND store has shown. I haven't complained to the store because I'm always just a quick in and out through the drive-thru, however my order has been wrong when I get food more times than I could keep count. My first experience left me with 2 cups of Mac-N-Cheese when I ordered a soup and sandwich on account I was sick. Another time, they accidentally gave me the Beer Cheese Mac-N-Cheese instead of Mexican Corn Chowder(which I actually found quite nice, but not what you want when that craving for Mexi-Corn Chowder hits). However, when I ordered just my sip club reward, everything was smooth sailing. I won't lie, the one breakfast bagel sandwich I did find on the menu was bomb AF!
