Having grown up around here, this is truly one of the best spots in the NRV and one of my favorites. I've been here a few times at this point, and it is consistently so good. The pupusas and tacos are absolutely amazing, and the tres leches cake is unreal. I suggest eating your food at the place, rather than taking it to go, because it is so much better fresh and with the salsas they give you. Seriously, if you are in Blacksburg, you have to go here if you're wanting Latin American / Mexican food. Not only all this, but you are supporting an awesome local family business going here, rather than many of the other places in Bburg or Cburg. We loved this restaurant! This will become a regular go-to. The food is homemade and delicious! We were glad to share each other's order. The al-pastor tacos were so well flavored. We appreciated the vegetables that accompanied them, with some seasoning on the onions and some heat to the jalapeno and radishes are a super food. It was a great balance to make it a complete meal. The chicken pupusas were fantastic with the pickled slaw that accompanied it, along with the tomato sauce. The flavors were incredibly well thought out and complimentary. I love coming in, great place, open, clean, bathrooms are clean, tables and always put together, always someone smiling at the register. Their menus have pictures which is great for us who sometimes don't know what the meals' ingredients are, the prices are great for the portions and the waiting times pretty reasonable, I also love to order ahead. Yesterday we had Pastor Tacos, Golden Taquitos, tres leached cake, Asada Tacos, corn tamale, Tamarind water and a Mexican coke... oh and a coffee, all was delicious and we will always keep coming back, the owner Mari is the best and everyone that works there, all are fast, friendly...
