I used to patron this place all the time, never again after today. There were a bunch of sick people in there, the employees were talking about how they were sick, and a guy was in there coughing his head off without a mask on. Mask or no mask if you're sick don't go into restaurants coughing your head off. In addition, I know they struggle a lot with staffing and it usually takes like an average of 25 minutes to get a bagel whether they're busy or not, but today two college kids cut right in front of me and then the staff were ready to help them when I had been standing there waiting for 20 minutes without anyone saying anything. It was taking so long to make one bagel sandwich, then they took another 15 minutes after I had ordered to tell me they were out of the bagel that I ordered, so I asked for a refund and who knows if that will even show up. The employees were just talking about when they were going to get off of work and how they had gotten their friends sick recently. I had so much anxiety and such an awful experience I will literally...
Read moreBless they lil hearts haha WELL the Bagels here are not BOILED... If you know anything about bagels you know the process includes that crucial step. First you boil em then you bake em... not sure which was worse, the stale weird tastin' Taylor ham or the unboiled bagel. Threw mine in the trash, seemed the only popular place for my purchase. And whats with the name "Hello" should be more like adding a big N right before the O... way over priced for what your getting. And the thing that really burned me was they asked if I wanted my bagel toasted... sure of course, and I get it and they have toasted it and then cut it in half not toasting the inside. I'd love to have a good bagel place in Blacksburg but this ain't it. good luck eating here you;ll need it. if your from Jersey you'll know if your some Local hick thinking your livin your best life you/ll be right in there...
Read moreThe lox bagel sandwich has changed. Today it had a reduced. amount of lox compared to previous sandwiches I have ordered. This corresponds to another review complaining of this issue. You may weigh the lox and offer additional lox for a price, but the customer doesn’t know this until they have partially eaten it or taken it home to eat. I would rather pay more for a sandwich with adequate lox on the sandwich than come home with a creme cheese bagel with not enough lox to enjoy this sandwich. Please consider fixing this. I love your bagels (four stars are low for them) but I will not pay for a lox sandwich next time… my plan is now to buy lox at the local grocery and...
