Our Daily Bread made a BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS cake for our summer wedding. We worked with Jen throughout the process. Her expertise and creativity cannot be understated! At out initial tasting we tried four or five separate small cakes each with different tasting combinations. Jen walked us through what was possible with each, what pairs well together, and every detail we didn't know to think about. Plus, she had a binder full of examples and design ideas for inspiration! After selecting our tastes and design Jen and Our Daily Bread were great communicators during planning. They walked us through the delivery and pick up options, the day of, and what they do to make our day special. Our Daily Bread set themselves beyond the pack in designing our cake. To select our colors we sent a few pictures of the flowers at our venue and asked the bakers and designers to let their creativity flow. The final product was absolutely beautiful! The buttercream flowers showed zero signs of wilting despite the 80 degree, sunny day. The colors were perfect together and with the gardens at our venue! Lastly, but most importantly for me, the cake was absolutely delicious! There was no filler. No fake flavors. Except for the plate it came on and one wooden support dowel, there were no lame "oh, you can't eat that, its for decoration" pieces to the cake at all! Each of the three tiers was different (per our tastes) and every bite was sublime! I haven't even gone into the logistics of the wedding! Picking up the cake the day of was a breeze. Carrying it through the parking lot didn't even make me nervous. The whole experience went off without a hitch! I cannot say enough about how great everything about this experience was. Seriously, if you're getting married (or if you just want some cake for the heck of it) go to Our Daily Bread. The cake was everything we could have asked for and Jen and everyone at Our Daily Bread was a dream to work with for our...

Don't trust the online ordering estimates. Ordered online and was given an estimated ready time 30 minutes later via email and the website. I had an appointment in 70 minutes, but that gave me enough time to pickup, eat, and make my appointment. When I arrived about 28 minutes later I double checked the estimate time on their website and it had not changed. Knowing these are estimates I knew that my food may be ready or I might have to wait a few more minutes. I could have handled another 10 minutes and had time to eat still. However, I was told it would be another 20 minutes before my food was ready (I don't believe it had been started yet.) That would be a total of 50 minutes for the food. I don't have a problem waiting for quality food, but this would give me about 5 minutes to inhale a plate of corner beef hash so I asked to cancel. They had me wait while they found someone who could do that.
To ODBB: please update your estimated times to reflect what is realistic in order to manage expectations. Had you done so I would have cancelled the order immediately and spent that half hour finding something else to eat instead of waiting for an order, going in to pickup, and then only having enough time for fast food when I discovered it wouldn't be ready in time for me to eat.
If you're too busy in the dining room to handle online orders, shut them off. On a day when I didn't have plans, I wouldn't have been upset if I was told initially that it was an hour or even two hour wait for the food and likely would not have cancelled. I'd even be less upset than I am now had the estimate been updated within 5-10 minutes...
Read moreTLDR: great, delicious place for brunch, dinner, baked goods, made-to-order filled pound cakes, and specialty cakes
I placed an order a couple weeks ago for a 6” filled pound cake for a birthday. It was a strawberry pound cake filled with strawberry preserves, and had American buttercream icing. They ask if you would like anything written on the cake and in what color, so I had “Happy Birthday” written (btw the candles in the picture were purchased at Kroger; however, they do sell birthday candles at the register). Delicious cake. I usually like chocolate/not a fan of fruity cakes, but the flavor was surprisingly good - not too sweet, not artificial-tasting. I’d order another pound cake from them again. You do have to eat it within a few days though, otherwise the cake will become hard. In the past, I’ve also ordered specialty cakes off of their menu - all have been delicious.
My partner and I also often come here for Saturday or Sunday brunch, once in a blue moon for dinner. Delicious brunch food and drink options, and dinner is very nice - the dinner menu is small with the selection and atmosphere feeling like fine dining. Everything I’ve ordered from their dinner menu so far has been delicious, especially the lamb. Highly recommend dinners for special occasions.
It gets busy for brunch and it can be hard to find a table indoors, so either come early before they open, or wait an hour or so so that the first wave of guests are finished eating.
Their baked good in the case are also always fresh and delicious. I often get the ham & cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, and sugar cookies. They often have seasonal goods, and sometimes...
