Edits after some good in-person visits, just don't expect to get in and out quickly and you can be pleasantly surprised when you do.
Don't trust the online ordering estimates. Ordered online and was given an estimated ready time 30 minutes later via email and the website. I had an appointment in 70 minutes, but that gave me enough time to pickup, eat, and make my appointment. When I arrived about 28 minutes later I double checked the estimate time on their website and it had not changed. Knowing these are estimates I knew that my food may be ready or I might have to wait a few more minutes. I could have handled another 10 minutes and had time to eat still. However, I was told it would be another 20 minutes before my food was ready (I don't believe it had been started yet.) That would be a total of 50 minutes for the food. I don't have a problem waiting for quality food, but this would give me about 5 minutes to inhale a plate of corner beef hash so I asked to cancel. They had me wait while they found someone who could do that.
To ODBB: please update your estimated times to reflect what is realistic in order to manage expectations. Had you done so I would have cancelled the order immediately and spent that half hour finding something else to eat instead of waiting for an order, going in to pickup, and then only having enough time for fast food when I discovered it wouldn't be ready in time for me to eat.
If you're too busy in the dining room to handle online orders, shut them off. On a day when I didn't have plans, I wouldn't have been upset if I was told initially that it was an hour or even two hour wait for the food and likely would not have cancelled. I'd even be less upset than I am now had the estimate been updated within 5-10 minutes of the order.
