Waste of money. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the meat tastes like frozen meat. It’s unedible. It tasted like I went to the dollar tree and ate meat their. The general tso also tasted frozen and gross and had no sauce in it. It’s supposed to taste sweet and spicy, had no flavor. The chicken fried rice had that unedible frozen meat with a really bad seasoning to it also they put long strips of raw onion. The rice was good but not everything mixed in. Food was all undercooked. I’ve never thrown away food I’ve bought from out to eat but I just threw away over 3/4 of this. My grandma said it used to be so good the best around but they’ve cut so many corners I guess to get more money I was really excited to try this place because I love Chinese food but this puts shame into there culture. I read the reviews on how this is supposed the best but it’s awful. The lady was very rude I went to pay in cash and pulled out some 5 and ones and went to give it to her and she said no you count it I’m busy and walked away while she was taking my order. Also my disabled grandma came with me and about fell with how bad her knees are and I pulled a chair up for her to sit down and the lady yelled at me not to have it in the isle so customers can go up the the counter. Like you would rather have a elderly women fall on the hard floor wow okay. All I’m saying is rude customer service. If you want good quality food just go to Panda Express or The China Garden at least you can taste the food. I swear the only thing that was actually good was the fortune Cookie. I love to go and try new places but I’m never going back here. I don’t deserve to be mistreated and served...
Read moreFirst time eating here. Ordered to go, the woman at the register was helpful and nice. The food was ready in 15 minutes.
We ordered the following: Bean curd home style- tasted decent, portion was a little on the small side compared to other places I'm used to from where I used to live. Would order again.
Spring roll- mushy, did not taste fresh, slight freezer burn taste. Would not order again.
Cheese wontons- these were crab Rangoon filling inside a folded in half deep fried wonton. Barely one teaspoon of filling inside, you could essentially take one bite from the center, get all the filling, and be left with 4 more bites of dry wonton. Would not order again.
General Tso chicken combo- very small portion. At least half the "chicken" were just balls of breading with no chicken in them (stopped eating with several pieces left so don't know if they were chicken or breading only). Pork egg roll that came with it was average. Would not order again.
Vegetable lo mein and pork lo mein- completely inedible for both dishes. I cannot describe how awful they smelled, nor can I describe the taste to do the disappointment justice. It was like burnt oil, old wet hot bread, and dish water all together. Absolutely would not order again.
Overall, will not...
Read moreDouble Dragon isn't your average sit-down restaurant. They don't have servers, so you just order at the counter and they'll bring the food to you.
I'm a second generation Chinese-American and my Chinese isn't quite at the level of native speakers. I still always try to speak Chinese whenever I'm at a Chinese restaurant. However, I felt ridiculed by the lady running the cash register - who went out of her way to mention how poor my Chinese is.
I brushed that off and still ordered my food. My friend and I ate-in, and there weren't any other people at the restaurant. The food was average. I found the dumplings to be very ordinary and quite small.
I wish that I had better words to say, but I overall didn't have a good time here and won't be back.
Dumplings, Chinese "donuts",...
