Top of the Stairs — Restaurant in Blacksburg

I didn’t even eat lunch there and was treated very rudely. I made the mistake of sitting at one of their outdoor tables with a sub, drink and chips from Jimmy John’s. It was past lunchtime at around 1:30 and there were only two tables occupied. I noticed a small table for two in the sun and sat down. I didn’t realize they were TOTS tables exclusively. With my sandwich unwrapped, chips emptied out on the wrapper, I was reading something from my phone and started eating when a waitress came running out of TOTS yelling “I’m so sorry!, I’m so sorry! Jimmy John’s tables are “Over there!” I said “I can’t sit here?” She said again “Jimmy John‘a tables are over there!” How humiliated I felt! I was embarrassed, angry and my peaceful lunch in the sun was ruined! Do you think I will ever spend a dime at TOTS? NEVER! What an awful reflection of customer service! What a...

Said the $6 cover was silly (to a friend, not me he bouncers) and they told me I swore at them and would not allow me into the bar. Asked to speak to a manager, was treated rudely, told I was a liar, and not allowed to even be in the restaurant. The two male “bouncers” were extremely hostile, rude, lied about the interaction, and laughed in our faces. I am visiting Blacksburg and was told this was the bar that I visit. I have never once been treated so hostilely or rudely in my entire life. This place is not worth a dollar cover and the staff was so rude I could not believe my ears. Top of the stairs I would say is at the top of the nightlife game. The place is huge although it gets packed out. Offers 3 stacked bars, 5 to 7 zones for all engagements. There's even mega/life-size Jenja, Cornhole, and other interactive fun games. This place is not for people who don't love to have fun and a great time. This is one of those[Thee place] place to go in dancing and don't think about it. No judgement all joy. I had the pleasure to take my Momma lady to BotS as well and it was good to go and good to return when the opportunity presents itself for me to treat myself and a lucky guess...
