This is our second time visiting this establishment. Our first encounter, we gave them a pass since the restaurant had been open for about a week. We had to wait an hour for our breakfast. Folks that had come after we arrived ordered ate and left and we were still waiting. The only reason we stayed was because weād have to start over waiting and ordering. Our second experience was this evening ironically we were sat at the same table as our first experience. I ordered the half smoked chicken with a sweet potato and Mac n Cheese. My ordered a hamburger, nothing fancy. Weād been waiting about 25 minutes and our waitress came to inform it would be 10 minutes for sweet potatoes because theyād run out. There was a group that was seated at booth in front of us, ordered way after we did and the waitress comes to let them know there are two sweet potatoes left so one of them would either need to choose something else or a baked potato. When I was told 10 minutes I opted for the green beans.
How in the world can you tell one table your out of sweet potatoes it will take 10 minutes for more and then tell a customer that ordered and was seated after our order was taken there are two left?
Disappointed not getting anymore of my money I can make my own sweet potato.
So Blackshear have it I donāt want it. One star is too many if you ask me.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to say the first couple of times Iāve been here were very good, just yesterday I came in order the loaded tots my (favorite) and a rib plate letās get started the potato salad was was alright it had more onion taste to it if you like onion, the pork and beans was very good sweet and savory, and I couldāve ordered more of the fried okra very crispy, enough with the sides and the appetizer I had ribs and the past couple times Iāve ordered them Iāve never had a problem until yesterday they were dry like beef jerky still had flavor but dry, anyways I typically donāt order dessert but I wanted to order peach cobbler wrong idea it tasted cold sour and mushy like itās been sitting in the fridge uncovered for a week, Iām regretting my choice of the ribs and cobbler this morning...

The lady that waited on us, we donāt remember her name but she said she drove all the way from Brunswick Ga to work there and she was really taking care of us. The amount of pulled pork t you got was really good. Itās only been open since January but they need to add it to TripAdvisor. That location has the old business...
