Downtown Pizza Co — Restaurant in Blairsville

We enjoy getting takeout here. It’s a good value, nice chewy crust and the toppings are fairly generous. My wife has Celiacs and the gluten free version is really good, too. Eating out is a special treat for our family; we don’t get to do it every day so we choose to spend our pizza dollars here. I always like to acknowledge the hard work of the staff and show some appreciation in the tip jar. Tonight, my pizza was accidentally made wrong. My wife called it in and they were apologetic and made a fresh one right away as I drove to town. They apologized again but I wasn’t upset about it. I thanked them and went home and enjoyed the best pizza I’ve ever had from this restaurant. I think they put more toppings on it as a way to make a good service recovery and they made a home run with me. Remember that even Ferrari and Lamborghini have service departments. Things go wrong and it’s how everyone acts and reacts that makes the difference. Wow! This place is what Cici's Pizza should be!!! This buffet offers more varieties of delicious and unique pizza than anywhere I've ever been-- Bbq chicken, Alfredo, Cheeseburger (my personal fav!), Buffalo chicken (try it dipped in ranch!), Etc, and of course all the classic flavors like meat lovers, veggie lovers, pepperoni, Hawaiian, Everything and more! Plus multiple dessert pizzas; the classic Cinnamon, as well as Chocolate Chip, fruity ones, and my personal favorite Birthday Cake Pizza! There is truly something for everyone. The buffet also includes Garlic Knots and a salad bar! Prices are super affordable and staff goes above and beyond to accommodate-- they will whip up any pizza you desire to add to the buffet, right away! I'm very pleased and can't wait to go back! And as a side mention, the atmosphere is enjoyable with softly playing classic rock and plenty of space to spread out from other diners if you are worried about covid safety. Pizza buffets aren't always the best, but this one is very good! The guy who runs it does a great job and everyone there is pleasant and accommodating. First, they have a well stocked, well maintained salad bar. Next, there's a wide variety of pizzas, and they use quality ingredients and they don't skimp on the toppings. And if you don't see something you like, they'll make you anything you want (within reason). Lastly, the dessert pizzas are fabulous - frosted cinnamon, chocolate chip, and fruit pies - and fountain drinks are available. Oh, and they also have bread sticks with dipping sauce. Covid-19 concerns are minimal as the place is large and roomy, they provide hand sanitizer and disposable plastic gloves, and tables are cleaned thoroughly after each use.
