Burger King — Restaurant in Blairsville

I worked at this fast food restaurant for about a month or so, I looked at the schedule a day before I thought I was off, and didn’t show up the next day because I believed that I was off that day. (My mistake for reading it wrong) I showed up one day already thinking I had to work but I was off so I was just going to enjoy my day off only to find out that I was fired for not coming in. I took getting fired fine, but when I came into the store on Tuesday to get my paycheck (the day paychecks come in) the manager on night shift that night of June the 4th of 2019 said that the general manager told her that she was not allowed to give me my check, that I had to wait until it came in the mail, that same manager also informed me that the general manager has done this with her other employees that have either quit or gotten fired as well. I called corporate as soon as I got done talking to the night shift manager and they told me that they were NOT allowed to hold my check from me when I am in the store to get it. It is now the next week and I still have yet to get my check. I have called corporate once again and they said the same thing, that it is ridiculous that they held my check from me and that I should have already gotten my check in the mail. This store is honestly the worst fast food restaurant I have ever worked for in my entire life, I have worked for several fast food restaurant industries and none of them held my check from me or felt the need to be that kind of childish as to hold my check. The managers are disrespectful especially when you have done your job correctly and ask if they need any help before you leave. There is more drama in this store than I have ever seen or heard of in my life. They wrote other workers up for having everything done but walking off to get something to drink. They have staff that is constantly rude to customers when coming through drive through and are constantly forgetting to put the right things in the bag and when asked to change the food they will give the customer attitude instead of the respect they deserve. Please if you are looking for a job and need money, you might need to look somewhere else where you will be paid what you deserve, (because they will pay you less than what is appropriate) and get the respect you...

This store was extremely dirty inside today. It needs a deep clean. The floors by the soda drinks was extremely sticky. The counters were grimy. The working space behind the cash register counter was dirty. And, the heavy set male cashier with the disheveled appearance and shaggy dark brown hair was very rude too. I quietly spoke to him when I went into the restaurant to let him know it will be a moment bc my significant other ran to the car really quick. He literally seemed to bark at me, and yelled “What.” I had to repeat my statement to him. He seemed very aggressive and intimidating to me. Please correct this. And, please clean your facility up, or I will purposely drive to Blue Ridge to go to Burger King. They have a very clean facility that is always clean when I walk in. They even decorate it too. I live in Blairsville, and I prefer not to have to drive so far. Also, the cookie I ordered was not fresh. The food was ok. But, the environment and the experience with the cashier needs immediate...

If I could rate this location a zero, I would! Went into dining room, we were the only ones inside, placed order quickly then waited for 15 minutes before hearing an employee in kitchen say " where's my burritos?" Woman working drive thru said "I thought they were for me, I gave them to someone, I'm sorry". Woman in kitchen said " I don't have any more tortillas thawed" she went to the freezer, brought out a pack , shaking and banging them said " see, frozen solid" the other woman said "put them in the microwave to thaw", so she did. That's when I got up from my seat and said I had already been waiting for 15 min, and don't want tortillas that have been microwaved that they, that they would be hard as rocks. She said she would refund me, I thought for the burritos, aand give me the rest of my order, nope, she refunded the whole order, and told the person in the back"you don't need order 91" Then she made a nasty comment...
