I used to love this Braum’s, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. Over the past few visits, especially during drive-thru breakfast runs, they've consistently messed up my orders. Despite calling to report these issues and being offered a chance to return for corrections, it's not feasible when you're on the go. Today, I hoped for a better experience when I went inside to order a Mushroom Swiss specialty burger meal and a Jalapeño Cheddar Jack burger.
As I waited, I noticed several customers with incorrect orders or incomplete items. One customer even had to retrieve soda machine lids herself. These were clear signs that my order might be a mess too, and unfortunately, it was. It took 10-15 minutes just to prepare two burgers, with several orders after of mine being filled first. The manager had to step in to get my order to the counter, and while the manager apologized, it didn’t resolve the underlying issues.
When I got home, I discovered that my Jalapeño burger had no jalapeños. It’s frustrating to pay extra for something and not receive what you ordered. We recently visited Blanchard and while we hadn’t planned on grabbing ice cream, we decided to stop into Braums just to use the restroom. Little did we know that a simple stop would turn into such a memorable moment. Not because of the ice cream, but because of the amazing service we received.
An employee, possibly named Darryl (or perhaps Darrell), greeted us with warmth and genuine friendliness. Even though we weren’t customers that day, he approached us with a welcoming smile and went above and beyond. We mentioned we were tourists hoping to catch a glimpse of bison nearby, and Darryl gladly offered detailed directions and local tips to help us find them. His kindness and enthusiasm made us feel truly welcome and taken care of.
This level of customer care is rare and heartwarming. Darryl’s friendly, helpful attitude turned a quick restroom stop into a standout experience. He embodies the best of hospitality and I’m glad there are people like him around.

A few days ago when I was through, I had ordered just one cheeseburger and was stuck behind a car load of people that took several minutes for their food to be made. Good fast food places will have large orders pull forward to not bottle neck the line, especially if the car(s) behind have very small orders. Then I got home and discovered they made the wrong burger for me (single instead of double).
Then the last time I was through, 2-3 cars that had driven up after me had their orders taken at the left-hand order screen while I waited several minutes with no explanation at the other order screen, until they finally took mine. Then once again, we were stuck behind a car with a large order that wasn't asked to pull ahead. Then our sundae order was wrong and we had to wait a few more minutes for them to remake it. All we got was an apology for all that hassle.
For now I'll still chalk these issues up to this being a new location/new staff but I hope to see these issues improved, and for the customer service to improve. If something is wrong with a customer, make it right with them. If things improve, I'll come back and upgrade my...
