On a busy Friday night, I placed an online order for pizza at 3:29 PM, with an estimated pickup time of 4:09 PM. Anticipating delays due to a store special, I arrived around 4:20 PM. Despite my order number (322) being significantly lower than the high 400s that were currently being fulfilled, I was repeatedly misinformed by the first employee about its status ("in prep," then "in the oven"). It wasn't until I approached a different employee, who quickly discovered my order hadn't even been started, that the issue was identified. It took another employee a mere 30 seconds to find the issue. The first employee didn't even try. I told this employee I placed my order 2 hours ago. The first employee said they were orders were only taking an hour to fulfill. After waiting until 5:35 PM – over an hour and 25 minutes beyond the estimated time – it was incredibly frustrating to learn my pre-paid order had been completely overlooked. Considering it was busy with staffing issues, a longer wait time is understandable. However, the lack of logic and common sense is not. I waited in the restaurant for an hour and fifteen minutes for pizza that wasn't even prepped yet. The lack of proactive problem-solving and misleading information, even when common sense suggested a discrepancy, was deeply disappointing, especially given my background in customer service during challenging, understaffed situations. The disregard for my time and the dishonest responses, particularly when the numbers clearly didn't add up, were incredibly disrespectful and reflected a severe lack of common sense and customer care, even in an understaffed environment. If the first employee didn't know the status of the order, then admit that. Advise that you will have someone check on the order as soon as they are available. More employees did arrive shortly that could have done just that and I would not have wasted my valuable time. This problem could have been avoided with simple...
Read moreAs you can probably already tell, this is going to be one of those "zero stars if I could" reviews.
Ordered a medium two-topping pizza and barbecue wings. Driver forgot our ranch and garlic sauces. He said he'd "be right back," and it was unclear if he just had to go the car or go back to the store. It ended up being the store.
We went ahead and began eating the pizza, only to discover a piece of plastic as a topping (see photo). Obviously, we stopped eating it, and moved onto the wings.
The wings had only a light drizzle of barbecue sauce (see photo), and a couple of them had hardly any sauce at all. Totally unacceptable. We didn't order plain wings.
At this point, I called the store. I talked to who I believe was a manager and described our issues. He tried to give us a credit rather than remaking anything, but I insisted the pizza get remade. He put me on hold to check to see if the driver had left yet with the sauce, as if that mattered to us. Turned out the driver had left, so I told him to tell him to come back, as we wanted our food remade. The manager wasn't happy about this for whatever reason --as if it's out fault we got plastic in our pizza and no sauce on the wings. He then argued with me about remaking the wings. I told him there was almost no sauce, and furthermore, we didn't even have any ranch. He reluctantly agreed to remake the entire order, but was extremely rude about it because, again, somehow it's our fault they screwed us.
When the driver returned with our remade order, he handed me the boxes and didn't say a single word. I just stood there and said "thanks" as he turned his back and walked away. He must be taking customer service cues from his manager.
You guys just need to throw in the towel. Why are you even in the service industry if you hate your customers? Seriously, just close shop. It would be best...
Read moreAWFUL!!!! First I ordered 2 pizzas and the wait wasn't bad but when my family and I started eating the food our daughter choked ON A HAIR!! Then I proceeded to call Dominos back and they said they'd remake the order. Okay I said that's fine and I appreciated it. This was at around 9:30 p.m. So I am sitting here waiting for the order to be delivered.. an hour passed called the store again at 10:30 p.m. or so and asked where my order was, the manager said the driver left 5 minutes ago with it. Okay great.. ANOTHER HOUR passed called the store AGAIN about 11:30 p.m. and the DRIVER answered the phone and said he was about to leave right now with the order and I simply asked if they can remake the food so it was fresh because it's been sitting there for 2 hours or so he said no it would take just as long for him to get back with other orders okay fine so we asked just bring it how it is can you just grab a 2 liter for the inconvenience and he said sure. That was end of conversation. So I'm sitting here waiting and waiting before I knew it I looked at the clock to see what time it was and it was 12:40 a.m. and they close at 1 a.m.!!!! I called them back again about 10 times or so before someone finally answered right when they closed at 1 a.m.!!! I asked the manager AGAIN where my order was because once again I've been waiting for over multiple hours waiting for my order to get redelivered and didn't understand why it was taking so long.. she simply said oh our driver didn't feel comfortable bringing us our remake order because of what was said over the phone!!! Okay we never said anything rude or disrespectful to the guy at all. We were polite about the situation even though we were extremely irritated. 4 hours waiting for our food that never left the building when they kept saying it was on the way!!!!! Very...
