Juanchos - Chicago Heights — Restaurant in Bloom Township

This is one of our neighborhood restaurants and I was considering using them in a block party event we’re trying to put together, but they are totally out the equation for ME. Since summer this has been my family Tuesday night meal plan, but today has ruined that convenience of a quick meal. I ordered 15 tacos and arrived home with 13 ($42) plus a tip later. I went back and the young lady pulled the receipt. She showed me the receipt and I was charged for 11 shrimp and 2 chicken. She proceeded to say to the other young lady “why is she mad because she wasn’t charged” and started laughing. Well this is why I am now mad….. 1)You are rude and obviously not taught any manners it was your establishment mistake 2) A wasted trip back at $4.45 a gallon. 3) give receipts that provide what was charged and not just the amount…… You will never get a dime of my hard earned money again… IT WILL NEVER BE...

This is the second time I had a problem with this establishment. The first time I came they forgot to put all my food that I paid for in the bag and when I called to inform the restaurant about the mistake the manager wanted to argue with me about forgetting to give me all my food. Only reason I gave them a second chance is because the manager eventually apologized for his mistake. Fast forward to today, they forgot to give me my chicken tacos good thing I checked the bag before I left I was able to tell them about the missing. Tacos . I was also charged extra for sour cream and didn't receive any. Once I made it home my daughter opened up her chicken tacos and it looked and smelled horrible. The tortilla was falling apart so I tried to give her one we had at home and she still didn't want the food.

I would not recommended this restaurant nor will I...

Gave Juanchos Tacos a spin on Saturday for the first time. I can assure you that it will NOT be the last time. Service was fast, food was perfect temperature. For lunch I ordered steak torta and a chicken taco. I will say that the taco wasn't really anything special, nothing really to write home about...it was just an ordinary chicken taco. The torta, now THAT'S a different story. I added mayonnaise to my torta, which is a must for me. The flavor was outstanding! The bun was ever so slightly toasted, which gave it a little crunch (insert chef's kiss). I have hundred of tortas from many different locations over the years, I'd say Juanchos Tacos is in my top 5. My bill for a steak torta, chicken taco and a can of coke was a little over $13. Totally looking forward to having it again...
