After seeing John Chidsey on CNN speaking of all of the changes that have been made I was interested to try Subway for the first time in 6 years again. I visited my local store with the thought that I would order about 8 subs to feed my visiting family as well as to give us all the chance to retry the sandwiches to see if there was truly a difference. We were all quite eager to taste the new "refreshed sandwiches". I was even more excited when I entered the store to see that there were no customers waiting on sandwiches that would be impeded or delayed by what I thought to be a rather large order. There was just one attendant and a person I believe to be a visiting friend of her based on the fact that they were in a very famailier conversation. The subway staff member seem very annoyed by my presence and interruption to her conversation and even more upset when I advised I would want several sandwiches. Because it had been so long since I had been to subway I had a couple of questions about the menu to which she grimaced at me and told me and mumbled something in audibly. I eventually made out the answer when she snapped the response at me again. I figured that realistically she was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the thought of making that many sandwiches and the fact that I imagine more people are coming in with the new advertisements circulating so I gave her a smile and apologized for her having to repeat herself. To which she responded with nothing. She finished the sandwich and I began telling her what we required for the second sandwich. This time she visibly rolled her eyes at me and all but yelled what type of bread. At this point I was sufficiently frustrated and told her that her personality was frankly flawed I asked for the store number and the corporate number which she refused so I just left. We eventually made our way to the Jimmy Johns where even though our order had increased to 10 subs to make up for the smaller size of their subs they quickly and kindly answered our questions. Prepared our food all with a smile. We are thoroughly disappointed in this interaction and I am still bewildered at what I did to warrant such rudeness. I will admit I am adding this to google reviews as I feel people should be equally aware of the lack of customer service professionalism and plain kindness...
