Starbucks — Restaurant in Bloomingdale

Edit 2 11/14/2023 Asking a random customer to contact you to tell you what you can do better is pretty emblematic of the entire issue. Ask your employees what needs to change to stop them leaving en masse and then listen to them.

I've never gone back to edit a review before but the absolute plummet in quality of this store pushed me to do this.

6 months ago I raved about this store. I loved the atmosphere, I loved the people, I loved the quality of all the drinks and the bakery food.

Now, I believe every single employee I talked about in my initial review is now gone, people who had worked there for years, and I strongly believe it has everything to do with the manager since this type of turnover and dramatic change almost always comes from the top down. I hope they've all moved on to somewhere that treats them all as they deserve.

The new employees have been lovely and have done nothing wrong, but they don't seem to enjoy their work anywhere near what I saw a year ago here which again, comes from the managment down.

I've been coming to this Starbucks for years and have finally been pushed to driving to other ones and it makes me sad. I hope for the current employees sake it's figured out.

Going to this Starbucks is always an absolute joy. Everyone I talk to is always so nice, they remember the things I tell them even when I don't see them for weeks and my drink is always made perfectly (and I've had trouble getting it made well at other places). I will pass multiple Starbucks to come to this one.

I really enjoy how easy our quick conversations come and even though they are a small part of my day they leave me feeling so happy!

Kathy, Tammie, Nina, Jackie, Steph, Eli, and Hugo are some of the names I've remembered who always go out of their way to make my day start out good and give me a laugh before I get to work but honestly I've yet to encounter anyone there who wasn't just lovely both past...

i’m very disappointed to say the least. i came into this starbucks one day with my friends after being a loyal customer for 7 YEARS. keep this in mind. i used to come here almost everyday and enjoyed the service. however, when i came here with my friends the manager was very rude and kicked us out for no reason and no explaination. not only did she raise her voice at me, she threatened me with the cops and threatened to put hands on me if i did not leave the premises. her name is Melanie and she is stuck up and very rude and over all unprofessional. she treats all of her customers with blatant disrespect. i’ve never seen her before this interaction, but ever since she has not let anyone serve me or my fellow peers. she won’t even serve me if i’m with a family member. this is ridiculous and childish behavior, mind you she never gave an official report that i am not allowed in the store, and this happened half a year ago. she just continuously yells at me and threatens me. i will not tolerate this disrespect and am very disappointed that my favorite location for years got ruined because of an unprofessional stuck up and rude manager, and i’m saying this in the nicest way possible. unbelievable. it’s time to fight back against TERRIBLE customer service. like this...

This is by far my most favorite Starbucks to go to!! I love how close they are to me, and their next to Chipotle (well almost they have that T-Mobile store in between!!). The store itself is totally awesome...plenty of seats, WiFi is great...the selection of baked goods are AMAZING..I’ve had almost everything on their food menu and each one I’ve had was great!! They always greet their customers with a great big HELLO, welcome to Starbucks!! I get greeted with a smile in store and in drive thru. They always get my drink right and even spelled my name right :)...I mean how often can Louie be misspelled? Lol you’d be surprise!! The staff is all sweet and clearly love what they do...every cup of coffee I got from them taste amazing cause I know it’s made out of love!! I would rate them a 10 stars if I could...Everyone of you guys at Starbucks on East Lake Street and Fairfield, keep it up!! You guys are great, wonderful human beings!! Thank you for making my morning bearable and my afternoon pick up sweet!! :) I can’t wait to go to store tomorrow for my Sunday...
