Any restaurant can serve a good meal once or maybe twice but a good restaurant can do it consistently and that's Thai Jasmine Cuisine's strong point - consistently good fresh food that is well prepared. I typically shy away from Thai food because I find it too spicy, but the chefs here are happy to adjust the spiciness to your liking. I always order my food mild and they have no problem retaining the flavor while reducing the heat, and they don’t use MSG. The Tom Kha (Coconut soup) is a must try! It is exquisite and you get your choice of chicken, shrimp, tofu, or vegetables. I have never been disappointed with it. The Thai dumplings are tender and flavorful. I have had Moo Siam, Tamarind Duck, and Pad Thai on my last three visits and am unable to decide which I liked best because they were all so good! Be sure to save room for dessert and don’t be afraid to try any of them. They also have been consistently delicious. The wait staff is extremely attentive and helpful. I used to love coming here but no longer!! My orders were typically over $15 so I had never noticed there was a $15 minum for credit card payment. Well my order was $9.58 and all I had was my debit card. After arguing with the girl at the counter stating that I had no cash with me and if they continued to give me a hard time I would just leave, she finally decided to ring me up. She prints the receipt for me to sign and she charged me $15.00 for my $9.58 meal!!!! I very quickly pointed out her error and at this point the manager is there too. He attempts to tell me this is all an "accident". Really, you charge me the minimum card price after we just argued about it and I am supposed to think this is just an accident? They ended up voiding the transaction but wanted me to still pay for my order, I absolutely wasnt giving them my card again and they refused to give me the already prepared food. I have been here on a few occasions and the food has always been top notch. However last week, I don't know what happened to the food but quality went down. Ordered red curry with chicken and it made my stomach turn. First the color was off and it was too much oil floating at the top. The color looked like a dark tan. Within a couple of bites, my stomach started to feel funny, felt a bit nauseous and thought I might vomit. I didn't finish it, thinking maybe the couple of vodka drinks I had earlier was making me feel that way. The next day I had the leftovers and the same feeling came back so not the vodka drinks, it was just the food.
