My husband and I dinned in on July 15th 2025 around 7:30pm. When we walked into the store the first thing that caught my eye was that the young girl at the register rolling her eyes and saying “bro pissing me off with all these people” I was taken back and asked my husband if he wanted to leave before we went up to the register to order, he said he didn’t mind and it was up to me whether we left or not. Upon walking up to the register to order the young girl with two braids in her hair did not even look up to greet me nor my husband she simply just said “I’ll be with you in one moment” as she was still on her cellphone. We waited for about 3 minutes until she started taking our order and she was very unprofessional and unpleasant to interact with the entire experience. There was two other young gals on the other side of the counter preparing the food who seemed to have a great bubbly personality and were quick and efficient at getting my order out, which is why I was confused and a little concerned as to why the employee that took my order was so rude and not engaging towards me. I would have given 0 stars if I could for the individual that took my order seeing that the whole time I was enjoying my food in the restaurant the individual treated all the other families and individuals that came in for dinner with no smile or good customer service like you should non the less if you can’t fake it till you make it then don’t get a job working in...
Read moreMy family and I arrived at Firehouse subs just before 6pm. There were no patrons in the restaurant, but the girl at the counter told us that it would be a 25 minute wait for food and that they were only serving cold sandwiches. We decided to leave...the main draw for us is the hot sandwiches.
I found it bizarre that no hot sandwiches were available, but understand that things brake. But why would it be a 25 minute wait for cold sandwiches? That makes no sense to me... Does that mean in person guests are bottom priority to online orders? If so, that's crazy and a bad business model. Does that mean the two girls working couldn't manage to make four sandwiches in any shorter time than 25 minutes? If so, you need new employees. Does that possibly mean the workers made a decision to only make cold sandwiches? If so, that's weird and bad for business. Either way, I find it hard to believe that the amount of online orders for cold sandwiches led to a 25 minute long order queue...
Firehouse has been delicious in previous experiences, so we were really disappointed and won't be going back...
Read moreI ordered firehouse subs for the first time on march 8th 2019 from the location in Bloomington, il. let me start out by saying the quality of the food is second to none. I used mr delivery and did not get my food until 1 hour and 40 minutes after I placed the order (NO fault to firehouse) and even tho the sandwiches were not fresh, or still hot, they were still absolutely amazing. eric at this location is hands down a star employee. when I started to work on the issue of my food not coming promptly like I paid for from mr delivery, he 110% had my back, told me when the order came in, when it was finished, and when it was picked up. he also backed me up when mr delivery called the location to verify what I had already complained about and with his help I received a full refund on my order by mr delivery. I will never set foot in a subway again after trying firehouse subs. eric, thanks again for your help and amazing customer...
