I generally like Burger King, but this location has recently disappointed me and my appropriately low expectations. I went through the drive through and ordered two sandwiches, one of which was the "new" bbq bacon triple whopper thing that costs an extra couple dollars. What I got was someone else's pretty sad single burger with no bacon (the impossible burger for my wife and our sodas were fine, which is why two stars). Unfortunately, it's a solid hour round trip to go back, as I live outside of town. I was pretty hungry before, and this little thing barely made a dent (I'm over six feet and had worked hard that day). Meanwhile, someone else got something they probably didn't want, too.
Typically, I'd just contact the restaurant, and they'd at least offer a specific apology, if not a coupon for a free burger or something. After all, I paid for quite a bit more (relatively speaking) than I got. Nope. I got a generic email that "relevant management" had been informed, and that's it. I thought maybe I'd get a later email from the store manager, but here we are a week later, and it's not happened. It's obviously not going to happen.
At this point, I will simply never return to this location, or others owned by this franchisee. Not, over two dollars, but over the principle of not caring at all about a mistake anyone could've made. It'll be easy to avoid. It's a pain to get in and out of this parking lot, and lots of other places sell hamburgers. My vegetarian wife will miss the impossible burger, but it's easy enough to just order a McDonald's cheeseburger with the meat on the side. And McDonald's actually pretends to care when they...
Read moreOrder person could have been a but more enthusiastic. You could hear it in her voice she did NOT WANT TO BE THERE. She was just "pull forward to next window". Which we realized was the second window because the first one was stacked with boxes in the way. Then we give our payment in the next window and we receive our drinks and are scurried to the next window to receive our food. 🤷♀️🤷♀️ We sit there staring at what looks to be there storage closet and moments later we get handed, in Hope's, was our bag of food from a gentleman that said "here you go , have a great day"...
Our meals were thrown together. Way too much lettuce. Were they trying to get rid of the lettuce from the night before?🤷♀️🤷♀️ just seemed very odd.
I think the owner of this franchise needs to come down and take a look and make an order as an undercover boss to see this...
Read moreCame through drive thru around 7pm. Restaurant was dead. Guy working drive thru in a great mood... Ordered 2 for 6 whoppers w/cheese. 1 with no onion and extra pickle, 1 with no mayo with extra pickle. Did not get pickles at all. Went inside and asked for this to be fixed. Got back to car and opened sandwiches. At this point I don't want to go back inside considering our food is now getting cold so I dig the onions they now put on the "no onion" sandwich out of the mayo that I didn't want on mine in the first place... Finally start eating and realize there is no cheese on either sandwich... Gave up at this point and went back in again this time to return the food.... Only eat here if you want your food messed up to the point...
