Lakewood Plaza — Local services in Bloomington

I went to Hyvee for the first time and checkout out there store. I was impressed with the selection of different types of foods, right down to Alligator Nuggets,Beef Tongue,which I never find at the other stores. And they have their own Market Grille, Barkery, Pizza,you can have a Salad,Or a choice of 6-8 different types of Wings, huge selection of cheeses. Prices to me are higher,then Walmart,Meijer, Kroger, ect. But if you have time and look around you can find some decent Priced Sales,and having their reward...

It's kind of weird to review a strip mall, but whatever. Binny's is a good liquor store and carries some high end booze. For the larger dudes out there, check out DXL or Casual Male XL or whatever they call it. Firehouse Subs is a good sandwich joint. There's tons of parking, although it's really easy to miss the entrance if you don't know where it is. Gotta turn right after the Burger King or be prepared to make a uturn. Not sure why they didn't put the mall sign closer to...

This place has been through a lot of changes over the years. It was dying years ago after the big retail stores closed and was not much of a place to shop. Then, Binnys, Hyvee and a few other new stores moved in with the others that stayed and the place is very popular now. So much so, that what once was an almost empty parking lot is now almost always full with customer traffic. So great to see it come back! I shop there every week now. Really like the diversity...
