This store was recently remodeled, which took A lot longer than originally stated, and with the nice new look to the building, they neglected to repair their pothole ridden parking lot. I have been to this location three times now since they re-opened. My first experience was in the drive thru about 30 days after they opened. It literally took 26 minutes from placing my order to receive the food! No apologies or acknowledgement of the long wait. I also observed every car wasn’t being asked to pay as there was no one at the first window and they just kept handing out food! My order was over $30 and I had already received my food and drinks but had not been asked to pay. I let the employee know that I hadn’t paid and then gave my money, still no apology for the long wait or thank you for being honest
2nd trip, was Also in the drive up, this time it took 18 minutes to receive $11 worth of food. I had been asked to pull forward and the food was finally brought out by a manager, again with no apology for the long wait times.
My third trip was in the store for a Togo order (as I had already waited in the drive up line for 8-10 minutes and haven’t even been able to place my order yet.) upon entering the store 3 managers and the owner (apparently) sitting in the dining room with a whole table being taken up, employees were talking loudly and complaining about anything and everything. (customers should never have to witness this! And lack of management let it continue. As they were “too busy” to care about customer service and wait times. The Owner of the restaurant, told her son get mommy‘s purse from the office and then left with him and another employee in the middle of a rush and couldn’t have cared less about her customers or the quality of the food (which was horrible on this 2 pm visit on Sat 1-4-20.
To summarize My review, customer service horrible, management, or lack there of has let things get way out of control, The owner who clearly witnessed all of this could have cared less and left with two employees. The McDonald’s on Lyndale is of equal distance from my house and their service and food quality has always been consistently good. I plan to visit this location from now on, and would advise anyone else Who is hungry to grab some DQ, chipotle etc. rather than give up 30 minutes of your day for hastily made food
I do look forward to the day McDonald’s revokes this franchise and takes over so that I can start visiting this...
Read moreI ordered breakfast at around 10:20 AM and arrived in line at around 10:29 AM.
By the time I made it to the window for pickup it was 10:31 AM and I was not allowed to receive my breakfast food. Despite having ordered before the cutoff window.
I understand that they don't want people ordering food that sits around since they make things to order. However when I asked them for a refund in person, they stated it would be issued within a few hours.
I was already annoyed at this point since I was grabbing food for my wife and toddler before work, and now had to shift to find something different.
To add insult to injury, the refund has still not been received even to this day.
I have written multiple emails and asked to receive my refund from corporate. Corporate forwarded their emails to this office branch and the general manager here, simply issued a reply to me that reads like they didn't even consider my concerns.
The email stated that she (the general manager) was HAPPY for my COMPLIMENTS (I never gave any compliments. I asked for my refund to please happen).
Then she asked me to come into the store to receive my refund. As a father with a toddler working a long job as well there is not really a convenient time for me to come in and sit around and wait for a refund and to talk to this manager. Especially since she clearly ignored my email the first go around.
McDonald's please tell your managers to not lie and say a refund will "post" in a few hours when it will never happen. And then tell your customers to come spend a bunch of time out of their day in person to receive a refund when people are busy...
Read moreI hate to write reviews about chain anythings cause it makes no difference to consumers but this time im making an exception... This has nothing to do with service or employees i might add this is strictly management and thier willful plans to exasperate dinning in at thier restaurant. They were one of the last true holdouts of no in person dinning in the metro but now that im sure corporate has said you must allow costumers to come in and dine they have gone out of thier way to make the conditions so poor as to keep thier establishment a drive through only buisness... i do understand the appeal! It goes to show at anytime of day that this McDonald's has one of the busiest drive throughs in the lower metro and handles it well thanks to undoubtedly the staff that manages it. The dine in experience though is what makes me write this review... If i could find a manager there who didnt look at me like i am crazy for asking why the ketchup machine is empty, there is no ice in the softdrink machine, can i buy a napkin and i need a tray because my food is for here so why are you handing me a paper bag with no napkins or ketchup and an empty soft drink maybe i wouldn't need to be typing... i dont want to eat my fries on your sticky unwashed table without a tray because no one has time to wipe off after the yesterday crowd ate on because you don't want us eating inside your establishment anyway "here is your hint" instead of walking here for breakfast i guess ill fire up my car and drive past your drive through line and hit one of the other 5 McDonald's in the...
