The Tale of the Pepperoni Pizza, begins with a online order for it. Its warm melted cheese with zesty pepperoni served on soft pizza dough would be mine, long did I yearn for the flavor. Arriving on time to pickup I went to pickup the holy sustenance, I discover a clearly wretched fool besmirching the names of those doing the good work. With great patience and care, the stalwart defenders explained that her pizzas were of the correct size, but in a different size box. Nevertheless, Jess issued a partial refund for time consumed. With Nay-sayers dispatched, by the kinds of Tony, the new guy, and Jess. The lovely lady in a ponytail whipping up yet another fresh miracle asked the name for my order, but due to unforeseen winds my ticket was lost in the abyss that lie betwixt the tables. They would have to start my order from the beginning, but that is of little consequence compared to the great outcome of a properly made Casey’s Pizza. Promising to prioritize my order, and profusely apologizing for this marginal error, they assured me this wait would not be long. In the meantime Tony and I started an interesting line of inquiry into the topic of GameStop and the future of digital gaming, all the while, diligently taking care of customers that approached the counter giving them his full undivided attention. A few moments pass with Jess and the lovely lady in a ponytail taking care of the kitchen with sizzling pizzas being made, steam wafting from the ovens, and dough being flattened. Mine is ready, long awaited and hotly desired. They offer a soda to me as apologies for the longer than normal queue. I assure them that a well-made pizza is worth any wait and that I was quite sated on the bubbly drink already. With smiling faces and friendly waves I depart the station of goodness, hungry but with a smile on my face, the people of this Casey’s strikes yet again as the...
Read more08/30/23 after calling to order pizza, the phone rang for an honest 2 minutes and no one answering. Went online and pizza pick up showed 15min (other two locations 45min). So placed order for Lg Taco and Lg 1/2 cheese-1/2 peperoni. Said order ready at 5:54pm. So I arrive at 6pm. I'm the only customer in the store, two employees in kitchen making sandwiches or something behind the prep rack. One finally comes to me when he's filling the warmer and I advise I was picking up. Turned around, looked at the oven and said 3-4 minutes. Mind you I was already there for maybe 2 minutes and it takes a pizza 6 minutes to cook. So I got a 2 liter, took it out to the car and came back. 6:15 pizzas were ready...now you do the math. Not sure what these two yahoos were doing at 5:35 when I placed the order but it appears not much and the pizzas went in after I asked about them. Needless to say I should had opened the second one as it was 100% peperoni not 1/2 so I had some fussy kids when I got home 20 min late and no cheese pizza. Cashier was prompt, friendly and polite...nice guy. The two in the kitchen though, moved at the speed of drying paint. No wonder their wait time was less, everyone else knew not to order pizza here!
Plenty of room for...
Read moreThere was one slice of cheese pizza on the pizza rack, one slice! Really?? No one asked if they could help with anything as I stood waiting with 2 other customers for more pizza to be put on the many empty racks. There were a couple female employees standing around talking up front when I walked into the store. Why couldn't these two employees go help the one employee who was slowly attemping to make pizza?? I mean, if they have time to stand around and talk, then they certainly have time to help out in the kitchen. I decided to leave and go to the Casey's on 7 hwy and there they had plenty of pizza on the racks and more than one kind. Also, no employees were standing around talking, every employee was working and helping customers. I was even asked if they could help me while I was deciding which kind of pizza I wanted. Very nice staff on 7hwy. I will not be going back to this one right off 70hwy and...
