Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Blue Springs

I WILL NEVER EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I AM GOING TO THE VERY TOP OF MANAGEMENT. I have never made a bad review and this will be the first. We called at 7:45 to place a to go order. Typically we would not place an order this late as I know they close at 8:00 but I just got off work and was trying to order dinner for my family. When I called to place the order KORVIN HILL answered the phone and instead of saying “thank you for calling papa Murphy’s” and then adding that they close at 8 he immediately answered with the fact that he just wanted to let me know they close at 8. I said yes I know we live right down the street we will be there as soon as it’s done. He proceeds to take the order and the phone conversation was 2 minutes long. At the very END of the phone call he said ok this will be ready in 15 min OR SO. Levi, who the order was placed under got there at 8:00 on the dot. They were still inside and when he went to the door to open it, it was locked so he waved at the boys inside (there was two of them) they did not answer or knowledge him at all. Levi calls me to make sure I placed the order at the correct location and we double checked that it was correct so I’m on the phone with him and as we’re both confused he stays a little longer then knocks. One of the boys ran to the back and looked down to wash dishes and the other one started wiping off counters in front of Levi and still would not answer. (I want to add, he only knocked once) I call up there and KORVIN HILL answers again. And answers with the location and that they are closed. I said yes I know but I have someone there to pick up our order and he said he no one is answering. He said “yes I know but he didn't get here before 8pm so no pizza was made and we are not making anymore either. I said “ok but he got there right at 8pm” (also concerning that he never even started the pizzas) he then proceeds to say “yeah and I told you we close at 8 so sorry” I stated that if he wants to get technical he told me at 7:47 that the pizzas would be done in “15 min or so” and he still goes on to say well sorry there’s nothing I can do about it now I told you on the phone we close at 8. I asked for his name and he said “I'm not giving it to you” I said I am calling the general manager (which I am and I am also emailing corporate considering I came to write a review and there’s already other terrible reviews mentioning korvins name and I am genuinely wondering how and why he is still employed there after interactions like these” after going back and fourth he finally gave me his name when I said I will make sure that your manager knows it is whoever is on this shift tonight will be held responsible. He THEN tells me he’ll make sure he states his side of the story basically insinuating it’s my word against his. I am completely thrown off by an employee treating anyone this way. Having Levi stand outside the door etc. every thing about this was terrible and I want to make sure that some accountability and action is taken. I understand everyone is tired, it’s the end of the day and everyone has a lot going on that no one knows about (which is why it is important to always be kind and treat people respectful) but this was not the case with korvin and I would seriously be concerned to have these two boys on your staff ALONE at night if these are the personalities and faces you have to show for your company. Used to be a big fan. I’m done with them. Here’s an overview of my last 3 attempts to get food here. One: wife wanted monkey bread. Went in and asked for it. They said, “we don’t do that.” Manager overheard and came out and told them to make it. It’s made to order, but the help is lazy. Two: went in on Friday night at 7:50pm to grab a $5 fave. They usually have these made up and ready. Just wanted to grab a couple and bounce. Walked in and they said, we’re closed. I pointed at the 8pm sign. They just shrugged. Three: last attempt at giving them my business. Went in and saw new stuffed crust large one topping for $13.99. Ordered one and added an extra topping. They wanted over $21. I said, “it’s $13.99.” They said, “that’s for one topping.” I said, you want $7 to add a single topping?” They said, “that’s the price.” I said, “nah, cancel order and refund.” Completely done with them. If you sign up online and not have to download an app that's great for me I hate having to download an extra app so anyway if you sign in online or sign up online you get an immediate 3 bucks off your first order. Besides everybody loves at least one or two pizzas from Papa Murphy's I love their chicken bacon and ranch I also like to do with the garlic sauce instead of tomato sauce on a pizza you guys need to try it out it's different and super awesomely good total heart attack in the future lol. But it is fantastic you got to try the garlic paste instead of tomato unlike the pepperoni or the chicken definitely winners. Also you got to remember they take EBT and they have some very competitive prices if you need to feed your family and your poor like me you can feed your whole family for under 20 bucks heck yes! I just love that inflation don't you guys?...
