Yummy Donuts — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Well just made my last trip to Daylight Donuts. Somthing that I looked forward to during the weekends or before work was biscuits and gravy with dbl sausage, donuts with the kids and wow has it changed. Biscuts and gravy with sausage not the same, only four glazed donuts available no chocolate long johns @8am. Was told the glazed donuts just came up which was odd since those were definitely not even the slightest bit warm. Very sad to see this place under new ownership and going south quick! To the response......well when I came to the window and was told when I asked for a dozen glazed that there were only four available and a minute later am told they just came up would assume that would mean its going to be fresh and warm which have definitely received in the past and as for the biscuits and gravy with sausage there is something definitely different about the sausage. But what would a family that has been eating from there for a few years know lol. But glad you have a excuse for all...

This was my first time trying daylight and I have to say I am disappointed. I moved to the Blue Springs area a few years ago and thought I should give this spot a try. I stopped in had a pleasant experience with the staff as they were helpful and friendly. However upon returning home I did notice the size of the donuts was on the small side but not a big deal to be honest. The flavor was decent though I once I opened the donut up it was raw at thicker points. While this is clearly a mistake I would say the largest downside to daylight is not its own product but rather the Competition of Lamars down the road. I have gone to Lamar's my whole life and never had a bad experienced across all locations. While I was hoping to have a new spot with easy drive through pick up unfortunately I think its worth the extra couple miles drive down the road. I hope some improvements can be made and the quality control can be increased in the future. Does the job in a pinch but not the go...

If you ask for no caramel disgusting donuts, they pack the box with disgusting caramel donuts and expect you to eat the most disgusting donuts ever made. Dear whomever. The reason the caramel disgusting donuts are left is because everyone hates them. The reason you have no chocolate left is because you can’t figure out that no one wants your gross donuts. I’ve never left a comment on a donut shop? But you just passed off everything you planned on trashing and Charged $30? It’s 2022, merchandise better. Read the room. Those gross caramel donuts are 1950 and if they are left over maybe you figure out why? Who’s running this ship? And why do you make donuts that no one buys so you dump those off on the 10am donut order. You ignored everything I asked for on door dash and gave me the exact opposite. Bad call. Never ordering from this place...
