GF PEOPLE!!! I’m not a gal who leaves reviews often, but this place deserves 100 stars. ⭐️
Not only did the wonderful, kind owner herself come and chat with us, but the rest of the staff were fantastic. The care and consideration behind our gluten free table was next to none. We don’t eat out hardly ever. Period. But momma was desperate for some pizza— we can’t wait to bring our celiac daughters back, as well!! Not to mention— they have dates for a full gluten free buffet!
Their gluten free menu was extensive. I had choices. A LOT OF THEM. They all emphasized how important it was that people with dietary restrictions deserve to experience the joy of good food too. Y’all, this place and the staff about had me in tears. And then I bit into the pizza and appetizers… shut the front and the back door… Insanely good.
The pizza itself… some of the best I’ve ever had, if not THE BEST. This is THE Pizza Place. We will be back again and again for date nights, family days, shopping trips… etc. 110% worth the hour drive for us. We can’t wait to try more pizzas, it was super hard to decide. We overbought and will reheat at home so our girls can try too!
PLUS— stop by the freezer on the way out. Tons of gluten free desserts and pizza crusts you can take home. This was quite literally the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant since our celiac diagnosis and I felt so valued and seen. I came in with the intention of eating pizza, no matter if I got glutened by cross contamination, because I wanted it that bad (I’m terrible about speaking up for myself, hate feeling “difficult” and we just don’t usually eat out)… only to be very pleasantly surprised that cross contamination wouldn’t happen on their watch. We weren’t a burden, we were fully welcomed.

Read moreI have alpha gal syndrome and react to a lot, so finding food when I'm not home is quite the challenge. Of all things for me to find that accommodated to my allergy, a PIZZA place. Not just any pizza place, THE Pizza Place, and they definitely live up to the name. I can't have anything mammal.... pizza is basically a mammal pie, but not mine, and it tasted AMAZING!! They have gluten free and vegan options, if you're new to this like I am, they'll even let you split the cheeses so you can try them.... I had to eat here 2 times before I could decide, haha!
What I love the most, though, is they have so many options for those without options. My mom got to eat her mammal pie with extra meat 🤣😂🤣 I believe it's the owner, but she is a magical human being with a massive love for helping people. I told her I had Alpha Gal and she started asking me questions on how reactive I was... like.... what???? She knows my allergy! I can trust her/them with my food and know I'm safe. Its such a rare feeling.... and it was PIZZA! For the first time in 11 months, I felt human, and not like a walking allergy. It was 100% what you want in a pizza without mammal.... I'm still shocked from the first bite 🤣😂🤣
They have vegan and gluten free nights, a really awesome salad bar (vegan dressing options available and like 5 ranches, lol.) They have sweets that cover everything you want and the staff are super sweet.
The owner, assuming, is the absolute best. She memorized my pizza after the 1st order haha! AuDHD here, this is a permanent pizza order. Haha! Thank you all for accommodating my insane allergy, I'm a frequent customer already and I live over an hour away! Come here, its SO GOOD! (The...
Read moreMy wife and I are pizza lovers. But we have high standards and we can be pretty critical about less than delicious pizza. We are huge fans of The Pizza Place and that’s after a single dining experience this evening. We always choose the same thing, pepperoni, Italian sausage and black olives. It’s our ultimate test for a pizza we both enjoy. Not only did Pizza Place satisfy our urges today but we discovered they even use Scimeca sausage, the best of the best for anything Italian. Tonight’s pizza reminded us of our time eating at an Italian restaurant in New York’s Little Italy, on Mulberry Street. I swear the crust was the same and the only real difference was tonight’s dish was not swimming in olive oil. Now that’s really tasty but probably a little off putting for some. We will be back soon and we’ll try the lunch buffet. A great salad bar and one as fresh as The Place puts on is the right kind of addition for a truly delicious Italian feast. Thank you folks for being there. We will tell all our pizza loving friends about you.
Oh oh, after two more visits we came to the conclusion this place is only good when the owner is there. The staff dropped the ball both times so we’re taking it all back. It’s a cruel restaurant world and the owner has staffing issues that need...
